14.01.2022 Yesterday students from grades 3-6 had the privilege of hearing author Lian Tanner talk to them about writing. She explained how she gets ideas for her books, how she makes her descriptions paint pictures in the readers minds through her word choice and how she gives her characters their own voice. This connects perfectly with the writing experiences students are engaging with at school. Lians new book A Clue for Clara is being launched at Fullers Bookshop on Sunday.

He spoke about ensuring parents know your passwords and can check in, not to friend or chat online with people they dont know, always be respectful online and if you are concerned, talk to a trusted adult. If you would like information about cyber safety here is a useful site: education.tas.gov.au/parents-carers-cyber-safety-resources/
