19.01.2022 Council is developing a Master Plan for the Paradise Skate Park area to be a Recreation Plaza with new skate facilities. CONVIC have opened the online survey for you to share your ideas about what needs to be included. You have until next Wednesday, 10 June 2020, to share your ideas and get your friends to do it too. 19.01.2022 As mandated by the Federal Government, The ARC Campbelltown is temporarily closed as of 12:00 pm (midday) today, Monday the 23rd of March 2020. All learn to sw...im accounts will be suspended in this time. All memberships will also be suspended for the foreseeable future and visit passes extended by 12 months. Suspensions will be applied automatically with no time limit and incur no cost or penalty. 08.01.2022 YAC's Top 6 Tips to Wellness during COVID-19 On Monday evening, Campbelltown Youth Advisory Committee convened for their monthly meeting over Zoom. While the committee members agreed it has been a challenge to manage isolation, they have otherwise been doing well. They shared with us their Top 6 Tips to Wellness during COVID-19. 1. Stay Connected - Sachee suggested keeping in contact with friends and family, whether it be; text messages, phone calls, social media, letter writ...ing, anyway you can. 2. Exercise in Nature - Aaron Drayton, Cayleigh Stock and Giulia-Giorgina Condoluci all recommended getting out of the house once a day to exercise in nature. 3. Learn a New Skill - Arjun and Lewis Pipe have been keeping busy by learning guitar. 4. Connect with Nature - Divsha and Khushboo have been working on their green thumbs, enjoying time in the garden and sharing this activity with family. "Always remember that a garden is a friend you can visit anytime, even in the greatest challenge our community has face in COVID-19. Here I welcome a new member." (See photo) 5. Give Back - Mannat Bains highly recommends thinking of ways to give back, recently she wrote letters to connect with older community members who might be more isolated. 6. Share Wellbeing Tips - it was Jingyang Li who suggested she had found it beneficial to share tips with friends and family, so here we are, sharing YAC's Top 6 Tips to Wellness during COVID-19. 08.01.2022 SA Health has launched a new mental health support line to help support the health and wellbeing of South Australians during the COVID-19 pandemic. Trained Lifeline counsellors will receive calls and also provide a call-back support service for people in distress, or who are in need of additional support caused by social isolation and long periods of quarantine. The support line will be staffed seven days week, from 8am to 8pm and can be reached at 1800 632 753.

Campbelltown City Council (SA) is developing a Master Plan for a proposed $2-$2.5m redevelopment of the existing Paradise Skate Park to a Recreation Plaza and we will be asking for feedback from the Community.
