25.01.2022 Nice price here! Delux 3m oztrail gazebos. Summer is just around the corner so a good time to get them at a price like this! $199.00 that's 40% off. These things are great. I have the 2.4m and are brilliant. Roof racks recommended as they are quite long packed up like and share or nobody gets to see these posts https://www.tentworld.com.au/oztrail-deluxe-3.0-gazebo

25.01.2022 12/240v vac sealer save $99.00. Useful piece of kit. Saves space in your fridge, you can stack items on vac sealed meat for example. A great plus is it reduces the volume of rubbish you have to take out of camp. All the bulky foam packaging from your steaks etc can be left at home in the recycling bin where it belongs 12v makes it ideal for the keen fisherman, filllet and seal right there on the beach. https://www.tentworld.com.au//dometic-vacuum-sealer-12v-24

22.01.2022 Huge fan of snowys, this is a cracker! Save $250.00 on a black Wolfe deluxe double self inflate mattress. Down from $599.00 to $349.90. That is an awesome price for a quality piece of kit. If you have an Inflatable it's time to upgrade to one of these. Only thing to consider is they take up more room/you may need a roof rack https://www.snowys.com.au/mega-deluxe-double-camp-mat

22.01.2022 Not a bad deal! I know it's outdated now but still a decent piece of kit!

19.01.2022 Hello! Pillows - so I have a cargo net across the roof above the rear seats. This is always for soft stuff like towels, pillows, hats, jackets etc. Usually we always carry two full size regular every day pillows but lately have found they take up a bit of space up there. Plus I am trying to get out of needing the net so I can take some passengers out camping down the track. So I've been doing quite a bit of lunch time reading/shopping around and have decided to give the self... inflate pillows a crack. There is heaps to choose from but from scouring online shopping sites I've settled on black Wolfe. It was a toss up between the regular (RRP $44.99 available at snowys for $29.99) or the Delux (RRP $69.95 available at snowys for $44.90) Both are about 35% off. I know I always end up at the same stores for gear but they are genuinely the cheapest place i trust and I can find the items I want. Example - BCF at the moment the standard is $44.99. Next best is tent world at $34.99 for the standard. Luggagegear are $29.00 but I have never used them. I've just pushed the button on a pair of the delux. Why delux? To hopefully convince my partner the black Wolfe is every bit as good as the xxxl pillow she likes to sleep on. These pack down to 40*10*7cm when deflated so can live almost anywhere in the car. May even stay in there full time. Anyway they are in back order until Sept so I will be able to give a bit of feedback and opinion on them then. Hopefully they don't end up as the dogs pillows https://www.snowys.com.au/self-inflating-deluxe-pillow

19.01.2022 This one is nearly half price! $109 from down under outdoor stores on eBay. Or $129 from tent world and a varied postage. I have on of these and they are absolutely brilliant. Forget the sheets and doona when your camping with your partner and get one of these. (I paid RRP after weeks of trolling shops checking out what other brands had on offer) The flano/cotton material is great, nothing worse than laying on a polyester sleeping bag. The valance on the bottom holds the slee...ping bag in place when used with a self inflate or double swag mattress. So you can easily roll up your swag/mattress with this attached. Packs small to a 400*400 "cube" so on par with brining two singles. We use this year round hot or cold it's the go to. If it's going to be really hot we take a sheet and use the top of this as the doona. The fact it's flano/cotton it breaths a bit better. Anyway a bargain at this price - even worth it if you just like a bit more space in your sleeping bag http://m.ebay.com.au//OZtrail-Outback-Comfor/322229527504

18.01.2022 Nice to see some innovative products out there!

16.01.2022 Camp lighting - always a hard one to get right. Here I have a good review and a good deal. This is a newish light from oztrail called the comet. It's like a street light pole for your camp. I pair this up with a waeco raps36 so it's mobile but you can just plug it into your car. It's great that you can have it up high so the bugs aren't buzzing around at head height. It's also dimmable, we've had it on low while around the camp fire and it hasn't ruined the ambiance of the op...en fire. Flip side is having it on high when your cooking etc means no need for a head torch. Not a down side but something that could be improved is the stake that goes in the ground. Could be beefier, the one supplied works fine and I can see it's made to be light weight but really soft sand or very hard ground might be a challenge. Saving $50 if you grab it from tent world at the moment https://www.tentworld.com.au/b/oztrail-comet-campsite-light

15.01.2022 Early days for this page but a like and share would be appreciated! Hopefully I'll have 1 or 2 items a day to post up. Trying to get folks some good gear with out the hefty price tags will review gear I own aswell, try save you some hassles. As mentioned it's gear I own or a mate may own that we have bought won't get more honest than that!

14.01.2022 Bit of a bargain here!

13.01.2022 One worth a publish here - I don't know the bloke selling but these things are great! The XL isn't canvas which is my only gripe I have the regular bunker with a canvas cover. I use one all the time on lads trips they are brilliant. When we go away and the lads are in swags I'm always set up before them. No poles or pegs needed. Flick out the stretcher, pop up two poles and canvas cover over the top Few things I like. You can throw your legs out to put your boots on. You can sit up in it. And you can take some stuff out of our car and store it beneath the stretcher

12.01.2022 A bit of navigation for you folks. The hema HN7 for $500 on clearance at anaconda! I've been shopping around for one for a while and this is a pretty good price (599 direct from hema) an even better option is to take the below and go to your local BCF etc and get a price match. I have hema maps and hema explorer on my iPad which is great but it's an older iPad with only 16gb so is really only good for the navigation apps installed ... Anyway if you have had a read give it a like and share. This is a just for fun page but Fb want us to pay to get the word out Cheers! https://www.anacondastores.com//hema-hn7-navig/p/90062771

11.01.2022 PLB So this is a $70 dollar saving (yes snowys again I know but these are the best price I can find I even give eBay a check) I have this exact model and picked it up for $249 during a sale. Some people think they are a waste of money, but for me having it made my partner a lot happier when it was just the two of us and we are well off the beaten track. Time and time again she would mention the worry that if something happened remotely without phone coverage she wouldn't be a...ble to get us out, in fact she wouldn't even know where we were even if she could call someone. (Not knocking my partner she's great!) So I've picked this up, registered it so has my car rego, model, color, phone numbers of people to call in an emergency they even have an option of adding medical details. It has a 10 year battery life, can test it before leaving on our trips. Always stays in the same place, partner is well versed on how it works as are 3/4 of my mates that we camp with. It's tiny and mobile so if your taking a hike you wouldn't think twice about throwing it in your back pack. For me it's a no brainer having one, worth doing some research on them - cheap insurance for touring. https://www.snowys.com.au/resqlink-plb-floating-model

11.01.2022 Here we go folks, these things are super handy to have in the back of the car. Pack up small and neat. Everything fits in the cup when not in use. Great for making tea/coffee without the need to get the stove out and set up. 2min noodles on a lunch stop actually take about 2mins baby milk warm up on the road even. Decent price reduction makes them viable options. I have mine in the drawers all the time with a 250mil bottle of water and a pouch of pasta & sauce you just add the boiling water to https://www.snowys.com.au/zip-hiking-stove

10.01.2022 One for the WA crew. These things get a good wrap from Ronny Dahl and James Mandy. Plenty of vids online. Don’t know the bloke but seems a decent deal. http://www.gumtree.com.au//snow-peak-coffee-ma/1164082878

09.01.2022 So this is something new - a real oztent contender by the looks of it. Heaps of space and head room. 26kg is a bit of weight but still manageable. Oztents generally need a roof rack (mine does anyway) this packed down is 1.3*0.3*0.3 so can go in the boot or across the back seats. 2.4*2.4 floor area is about on par with the Rv4. Rv4 is currently available for $1,059.00 this is on sale at $1,199.00. Would be hard to pass the oztent for that money but like I said, you can't put... the oztent in the boot where this you can. Family car could easily carry this. https://www.snowys.com.au/speedy-4-earth-tent

09.01.2022 Great deal on a great self inflate mattress!

08.01.2022 Projecta 80 watt folding solar panel incl Anderson plug fitted. Saving of approx $90.00 for the unit. Will incur postage but still a good deal! Light and folds up pretty small http://www.drifta.com.au/80-watt-folding-solar-panel/

07.01.2022 Base go pro in Harvey Norman today! As advertised in the west Australian

05.01.2022 Can you guys see the post about the oztrail comet camp light? Facebook is prompting me to sponsor it because nobody can see it - all well and good but this isn't a business

03.01.2022 Decent discounts on these stoves currently! Don’t use one personally but have heard lots of good things about them! https://www.bcf.com.au/p/coleman-fyreknight-hy/385980.html
