25.01.2022 Have you guessed what it is yet?

24.01.2022 This week we are celebrating Helen Keller Deaf-Blind Awareness Week. In 1925, Helen Keller urged Lions Clubs to join her in a crusade against darkness. Forty...-five years after her initial call in 1970, Lions Clubs in Western Australia agreed to the formation of the Lions Save Sight Foundation (WA) Inc. The goal of this amalgamation was to lead the development of world-class ophthalmic care. The Lions Save Sight Foundation (LSSF) is the link between the Lions Clubs of WA and the Lions Eye Institute. Today it is recognised as one of the leading volunteer eye health organisations in Australia. The primary focus areas are: Supporting and raising money for the major causes of blindness Supporting the training of new ophthalmologists Research outcomes Providing eye health services to rural and remote regions of Western Australia Pictured is the first Lions Save Sight touring caravan.

On behalf of Chairperson Greg Rollason & the Board we wish Belinda our very best and thank you for all the help, the laughs and the time we've shared.
