23.01.2022 We’ll be open from 10am to 11am tomorrow. There’s so much to choose from including great toys for babies. You know, all that big stuff that’s handy but hard to store?! New members are welcome but please send us a message before arriving at the stadium. See you there!

21.01.2022 This brand new fire truck is ready to respond! A reminder that well be open between 10am and 11am tomorrow for a special borrowing session for new and existing members. The library will then be closed until further notice for school holidays and the response to COVID-19. 19.01.2022 An Interesting blog post about toy libraries written by The Rogue Ginger. Beyond the environmental and social impact, a toy library is a fun way to ease the influx of toys from entering the house and later finding ways to dispose of responsibly.

18.01.2022 In addition to hearty pub fare and hot chocolates, we welcomed three new committee members and bid farewell to Rachel Van Den Meiracker and Leah McDonald at last nights AGM. Rachel and Leah have done an amazing job at keeping us organised and ensuring there is always a great range of toys to borrow; a heartfelt thank you to you both! We were also excited to see some of the fantastic toys being considered for purchase and to put the wheels in motion for a childrens market in Camperdown in March in partnership with members of the Camperdown Playgroup. Stay tuned, well be sharing more details soon.

17.01.2022 The cat is out of the bag now! On March 21 were holding a childrens market with our friends at the Camperdown Playgroup. Not only is the market a great opportunity for parents, soon-to-be-parents and carers to buy and sell new handmade and pre-loved items, its a great opportunity for both of our groups to raise money to benefit children in our district. If youd like to book a stall or find our more please get in touch.

16.01.2022 We were really excited about the interest we had in Saturdays market but we have decided that the only sensible thing to do is to postpone it. We hope that you understand that we want to do our bit to limit the spread of COVID-19. All stall holders will be given a full refund. Stay tuned for when we set a new date for what will no doubt be an even bigger market later this year. Toy library will be open as usual from 10am to 12pm on Saturday for any new members wanting to borrow before school holidays.

01.01.2022 Stocktake tomorrow, Saturday the 7th, this is a compulsory gathering for all members. All toys to be returned, holiday borrowing available.

01.01.2022 We will be open from 10am to 11am on Saturday for toys to be borrowed but not returned. The library will then be closed until the threat of COVID-19 has passed. In short, this might be your last opportunity for some time to borrow some fantastic resources to keep your kids entertained. Heres what you need to know: Continue playing with and enjoying the toys you have at home. They will be renewed at no cost.... If youve been thinking about becoming a member its not too late! You can borrow toys on Saturday but it would be great if you could send us a message first so we can organise as much as possible online. If possible, please dont bring your kids into the toy library. A hard one we know! Dont come in if you have symptoms of a cold or flu or have recently returned from overseas. if this time does not suit you, get in touch. There is no way of telling when we will be able to reopen but we will keep you updated. Well also be on the look out for clever crafty tips to share with you until were back in action! We are small but mighty. The health of all of our community, from our littlest people to our biggest is the most important thing. Lets work together to support each other through this uncertain time.
