12.01.2022 Wildlife encounters Summer is a great time for encounters with wildlife, even in suburban backyards or out on the road. Many are rearing young this time of year... too. And one of the great joys of visiting Tasmania's national parks and reserves is the opportunity to see wildlife in its natural habitat. Seeing a wild native animal is something special - unexpected and unpredictable. To help care for our native animals: Keep to the designated speed limits Refrain from interacting with wildlife, including touching and feeding Report any wildlife you believe to be injured and let the experts take care of them Report any sightings of non-native animals e.g. feral cats By keeping a respectable distance, at least two metres, we can help ensure our native wildlife continue to behave naturally in their habitat. There are appropriate places in Tasmania where you can have close contact with our native animals. A number of wildlife parks around Tasmania offer the opportunity to pat or hold and feed, native animals safely.

Many second hand vans have had modifications that changed their weight from the original plated information or have simply been overloaded. We aren't associated with Weigh Forward but thought this service needed sharing - give them a call and get your van checked
