25.01.2022 I have said I did have a series of "Unfortunate Events" occur which almost literally destroyed me and my business CampersOZ. Its a long story so Ill just give it to you in instalments. This could happen to anyone....

23.01.2022 So GJZ and myself entered into an Agreement, a Contract was drawn up and duly signed by us both and even witnessed by a JP and it was. ON. On the very first day of our arrangement he was to pay the lease on the premises... 3 days later (4th May I get a call from my landlord asking where is the lease payment for the rent. I explain and chase up GJZ as to why the payment hasnt been made and he says he paid it and send me an Internet bank notice showing payment t lodged.

19.01.2022 You see some really strange things when you go "Outback" in Australia. Saw this in a paddock on a recent drive from Geelong(VIC) to Cairns (QLD).

19.01.2022 Whenever a customer says to me "I have heaps of 4WD experience" then I start to be concerned as they drive off in one of our 4WD Hire vehicles. This was done by a large bull up near Lockerbie - at 2:00AM IN THE MORNING. Thank you BBC TV Green planet productions.

16.01.2022 It all started when I was rushed off to hospital one evening after work with chest pain - like heartburn. After 10 days, in the Cardiac Care Unit, I was allowed to return home and to work with light duties. I went and saw my doctor and he said maybe its time I sold CampersOZ and considered early retirement.... So I advertised it for sale locally in the Cairns region. I had a few bites and one of these said they would put an offer on the table"

14.01.2022 Recent trip from Cairns to Cooktown. Got very bumpy coming into Cooktown with turbulence but that is often the case. Winds were SE and around 30 knots. For the aviators out there - plane was a Cessna Grand Caravan

07.01.2022 A new wind farm is being built up in the tablelands area near Cairns. The hardware is starting to arrive by ship. The photos here show one wind turbine blade. It is 57 metres (187 feet) long. There are three of these to each turbine. The Transport Department has had to dismantle roundabouts to allow the trucks to just drive straight over the roundabaouts as they cannot manoeuvre around them.

02.01.2022 Slowly settling into the new premises but not in any rush just adjusting. It was mainly due to a set of extremely unseen circumstances that set the wheels in motion for us to move and over the coming days, once I get the chance to get my head around the events of the past 3 months Ill start letting you all know what happened, cause it wasnt good and it really could happen to anyone. What really blew me away was out of 5 Government departments/agencies not one offered any degree of help.

02.01.2022 The sage continues... This "Offer" stated that he - I will refer to him as GJZ - it makes it easier... was not able to pay a deposit to purchase the business until the 16th July 2018. He then asked could he come in early and start learning the business - its procedures, policies, practices to ensure that when he paid his deposit. This seemed to be a fair request but after thinking about it I said YES but from the time he "walked in the door to learn the ropes" he would start paying the general business expenses.

02.01.2022 Interesting bit of information. Cape York has a lot of bulls/cows on the roads as most of the properties. This video certainly seems to prove a "fact"... A bull does not recognise anything below a certain height as an enemy worth attacking...
