23.01.2022 Travel Tip 5- travelling with our children for a 7 week trip has taken lots of flexibility. The key has been to "overplan amd then go with the flow". School time happens when the kids are motivated, on site in a specific moments and during the wait times for flights and trains. It has never followed normal school hours. Sometimes we throw the plan out the window and opt to rest....and use that time to do business. Fruit amd water has been my No 1 rule for food each morning.... 23.01.2022 What is a DETOX all about? Basically, detoxification means cleansing the blood. This is done by removing impurities from the blood in the liver, where toxins are processed for elimination. The body also eliminates toxins through the kidneys, intestines, lungs, lymphatic system, and skin. In a perfect world, our body’s natural detox processes would be completely adequate.... Unfortunately, we live in a very polluted world where most of us are exposed to hundreds of chemicals and toxins every day, from Conventional produce and factory farmed meats Cosmetics Prescription drugs Processed foods Air and water pollution (Not to mention the additional burden chronic stress places on all of us.) So, even though our body is created to detox itself, because our world is so polluted, at times we can over tax our natural detox systems. 11.01.2022 Bitesize Finance- Sounds really simple but people often forget about the effects of exchange rates when travelling overseas. Rather than trying to do complicated calculations when you spend, keep it nice and simple. As an example, when we travelled to Thailand earlier in the year the Aussie dollar was worth roughly 24 Baht so an easy conversion was to take the cost in Baht, divide by 10 and halve the answer - not 100% accurate but made it lots of fun for the kids! Here in the USA we just add another half to everything!!!

09.01.2022 Day 2- The Big MASS Tiny Home Festival. Marshfield Massachusetts. This tiny Home is part of a artistic community. Where you stay in a Tiny Home and attend art workshops during your stay. Some really interesting space saving ideas with the stairs and built in table and chairs. Her name is 'Eugine'.

02.01.2022 There are many reasons why people want to live more sustainably and a less cluttered life. For many people it is the financial freedom. This was our initial motivator. However after living 7 weeks in micro spaces like the tiniest NY Motel room....the connection to family has become my biggest priority. Somewhere in the process of this trip we have rediscovered each other as a family. We have had to interact and work through the bumps quickly, in order to live together.... When we return to Australia it is this deep sense of connection I want to take with us into our next season of living sustainably.
