23.01.2022 So I’m on my way to Sydney for work and as always, camping when I can on the way down. Tonight’s spot is Samurai Beach (Samurai Beach/One Mile Beach) near Port Stephens in Tomaree National Park. If your ideals on modesty is sensitive, then be warned that Samurai Beach is clothes optional, and you have to drive along the beach to get to camp. If that puts you off, just keep in mind that it’s a quiet, 4x4 access only spot, and from what I could see only popular with the local s...urfers and 4x4 campers. Camping is actually free here, with a $6 booking fee through the NSWNP website.
