21.01.2022 The Sisters of Charity Foundation awarded a $15,000 Grant to Can Assist Cootamundra in July With fundraising at a standstill, The Foundation got us through... the worst times so that we could continue helping those families in Cootamundra and surrounding towns who experienced financial barriers to cancer treatment. Colleen Flynn, Treasurer Can Assist Cootamundra. This grant ensured that no requests were left unanswered by helping 47 patients across 64 separate requests for travel, accommodation and medical out of pockets across July & August. If it were not for Cootamundra Can Assist we would have had to sell our home Local Cancer Patient. 11.01.2022 Can Assist Cootamundra is incredibly grateful to be one of the lucky recipients of a recent grant from the Sisters of Charity Foundation. Can Assist branches provide financial assistance to cancer patients in rural and regional NSW to ensure they have the same access to cancer treatments as their city counterparts. At a time when we are unable to fundraise, yet we are still providing financial assistance to clients, grants like this are invaluable....
