24.01.2022 Sisters of Charity Foundation Award a $15,000 Grant to Can Assist Cootamundra - Combating the Impact of COVID-19 on Fundraising Income. After more than 180 ye...ars in Australia, the Sisters of Charity continue in their work of restoring hope and providing meaningful assistance to those in need. Through Can Assist, the Sisters will be helping those families in Cootamundra and surrounding towns who are experiencing financial barriers to cancer treatment. Without Can Assist many people would face overwhelming bills that they could not afford. Di Jamieson, current recipient, Cootamundra. "This grant will go straight back into the community and to those who need it. Eva Larson, McGrath Breast Care Nurse, Young Health Service. 13.01.2022 We are very happy to be supporting people with cancer in partnership with Deniliquin CanAssist. Having a car to get to treatment is an absolute must in a rural area, especially with COVID-19 limiting access to public and patient transport.

If you are placing a bet on the 2019 Melbourne Cup please consider giving that same amount to our Can Assist Branch.... Click below to donate to this branch. All money raised locally stays locally to help our community. https://www.givenow.com.au/canassistoberon

07.01.2022 Can Assist has 55 branches across rural New South Wales and is celebrating its 65th year this year. Our biggest point of difference is that when a Can Assist br...anch asks for a donation, or hosts a fundraising event, you can be assured that 100% of the money raised will stay in that town to support local cancer patients.
