19.01.2022 We were so excited, and grateful, to receive a brand new mobile phone, laptop and printer donated to our branch via GIVIT - Goods For Good Causes. Like all other Can Assist branches, we are still providing much needed financial assistance to our clients but due to COVID restrictions have very little money coming in to our branch because we are unable to fundraise. Thank you GIVIT - Goods For Good Causes! This is truly wonderful. <3

17.01.2022 Well what a wonderfully successful Can Assist Xmas Lunch that we were all a part of at The Farmers Arms Hotel on Friday. The lunch was a great opportunity to show our appreciation to our very supportive community Members and to welcome and introduce our new incoming members.... Our MC Geoff Westmore provided great hilarity and entertainment when presenting our Mystery Kris Kringle gifts. Most of all many thanks to our very supportive hosts Laura, Chris and Shane of The Farmers Arms. Our Xmas lunch was not just any old pub grub. It was very fine dining. Thank you all again everyone and have a very merry xmas.

03.01.2022 Thank you so much to all our wonderful members who donated food, raffle prizes and time to make the trivia evening so successful. Your efforts help make a difference. Unofficial figures of money raised $3,500. The feedback from attendees was extremely positive, there was a great atmosphere and Geoff Westmore had the trivia questions spot on. Jeff Smith from the Palm’s Hotel was an excellent auctioneer and he generously donated other prizes to the the auction. Thanks to Alf Gr...ayson President Tocumwal RSL and his team for provision of the venue. It worked extremely well and the kitchen enabled us to serve up a wonderful spread. I think we may have over catered!! When asked, When’s the next one? We did reply Not for a while. However it would be fair to say all who attended would be happy to return. Again thanks so much for another fantastic team effort.
02.01.2022 Bye Margery and Graeme. We will all miss you. Enjoy your extended holiday. From your CanAssit family.
