25.01.2022 Today is International Happiness Day. There's a lot of uncertainty in the world at the moment and what we're hearing in the media has been a little scary. Here at Canada Bay Club, we wanted to bring back some positivity and look at what makes us happy ad what we're thankful for. For us, happiness is giving back to the local community. 24.01.2022 ***CLUB UPDATE*** Last night the Prime Minister announced a new set of restrictions aimed at controlling the spread of COVID-19 in Australia which has come into effect today. As part of these restrictions, all registered clubs must close at midday today Monday 23rd March. Unfortunately, as a result of these restrictions Canada Bay Club will be closed until further notice. ... We are saddened to have to close the club for our members, visitors, employees and the wider community but we are committed to abiding by these new restrictions. We wish to assure you the club is in a strong financial position, thanks to the support of our loyal members and visitors to the club. We will continue to monitor the COVID-19 situation closely. To keep up to date with information regarding the club please follow us on Facebook or visit our website. 21.01.2022 Yesterday marked the 30th anniversary for Clean Up Australia. Thanks to everyone who came down to Rodd Point and Rhodes to help keep our beautiful bays and parks clean. Hundreds of residents of all ages rolled up their sleeves to collect rubbish and debris from around the area. It was a successful day and really showed the community spirit! : City of Canada Bay

We really appreciate your understanding of the changes which have been made when visiting the club and following the conditions of entry. You may have noticed some of our team are wearing a hi-visibility vest, they are our COVID-19 Marshalls and they are helping with social distancing and the other new rules to keep us all safe. 15.01.2022 We are pleased to announce we will be re-opening Monday 1st June at 10am at a limited capacity, as part of the easing of Government restrictions. While we cant wait to welcome everyone back again, we need to let you know what the new operating restrictions will look like for us. We have new Conditions of Entry, which are as follows: For the wellbeing of our Patrons and our Staff Members we ask you to consider our modified conditions of entry. Any breaches of these condition ...may result in you being asked to leave the venue. You must provide your name, address and telephone number or email address upon entry. Your body temperature may be taken upon entry. If you are unwell or showing the mildest of symptoms please do not enter the Club. You are encouraged to test for COVID-19. The Club is limited to a combined patron and staff capacity of 300. Dining Areas are limited to 50 patrons and staff per space. Staff may ask you to move from one space to another if this capacity is close to being exceeded. Physical Distancing will be enforced. 1.5m between patrons and a density of no greater than one patron per four square metres. Patrons from the same household are exempt. Groups can be no larger than 10 patrons. Please follow all directional signage. Be seated when consuming Beverage or Food. Be seated when playing Gaming machines. At this stage, the games arcade in The Brasserie will remain closed, there will be no promotions, entertainment or functions. We appreciate all the support we have received over recent months. The building project is in full swing and you will notice the significant progress which has been made when you next visit. Our team have been working hard to prepare the club for re-opening and we are looking forward to seeing you soon!

14.01.2022 We would like to confirm Canada Bay Club and all its facilities are open as usual. The club is monitoring all updates from NSW Health and abiding by all recommendations.

14.01.2022 We hope this message finds you well. We understand the challenges being faced by everybody at this time and wished to update you on how the club is responding in this current environment. Firstly, we wish to assure you the club is OPEN! To comply with the current restrictions on mass gatherings, Canada Bay Club has made adjustments to each single enclosed area of the club. Each room has a maximum 100 person capacity and is able to accommodate the 1.5m distance required from ...other people while social distancing. The Club has implemented and will continue with, enhanced hygiene and cleaning measures. We will encourage social distancing initiatives. The Club will continue to monitor the advice of NSW Health and other Government agencies and will respond immediately to any changes. If you are a vulnerable member of the community you MUST inform yourselves of the dangers of COVID-19 (Coronavirus). Please consider your personal circumstances when choosing to visit our venue.
