After more than 180 ye...ars in Australia, the Sisters of Charity continue in their work of restoring hope and providing meaningful assistance to those in need. Through Can Assist, the Sisters will be helping those families in Cootamundra and surrounding towns who are experiencing financial barriers to cancer treatment. 07.01.2022 It is with a heavy heart I bring you the sad news of the passing of Neville Hyde yesterday 6th October 2020. On behalf of Can Assist Junee, we are incredibly sad to hear of this news and wish to send condolences to Stella and his family. Neville was a life member of Junee Can Assist. Neville was such an inspiration to the community of Junee being involved with the rail in Junee and many community organisations such as Junee Can Assist, Junee Men’s Shed , Railway Museum and many more. Neville was always generous with offering his help, advice and sharing his history with many people. One of my favourite memories of Neville is his recent interview with Inland Rail with his humour and beautiful laugh. Neville will be sadly missed. Details of Neville's funeral will follow soon.
