There was also a $20 cash donation added to that, for a total of $1219. We would like to thank them very much for making us their chosen charity this year for the proceeds from this event. Joy Hooper from the Lockhart Senior Citizens Inc also presented us with a cheque last week for $500. That is also very much appreciated.

21.01.2022 St Francis De Sales Regional College at Leeton recently had a very successful fundraising event. It involved a gold coin donation for casual clothes, a truly magnificent morning tea shared by staff and Year 12, and the incredible cake auction to finish the day, which all added up to a huge success. One of the recipients of the fund raising was the Lockhart Branch of Can Assist, which received $2000. Vice President Keith Carter accepted this very generous donation at a morning tea at the college. A very big thank you to staff and students at St Francis.

06.01.2022 Can Assist has 55 branches across rural New South Wales and is celebrating its 65th year this year. Our biggest point of difference is that when a Can Assist br...anch asks for a donation, or hosts a fundraising event, you can be assured that 100% of the money raised will stay in that town to support local cancer patients.
