16.01.2022 Sisters of Charity Foundation Award a $15,000 Grant to Can Assist Cootamundra - Combating the Impact of COVID-19 on Fundraising Income. After more than 180 ye...ars in Australia, the Sisters of Charity continue in their work of restoring hope and providing meaningful assistance to those in need. Through Can Assist, the Sisters will be helping those families in Cootamundra and surrounding towns who are experiencing financial barriers to cancer treatment. 15.01.2022 Parkes ladies are enjoying a well-earned lunch, after a few weeks cleaning away the massive amount of dust. A special thanks to all the men who are camera shy, for their continues hard work. Another very successful garage and furniture sale was held last week. Watch for the next sale.

07.01.2022 Fulton Hogan and BMD Construction & Trading will donate furniture, purchased for staff homes in Parkes, to Can Assist. Fulton Hogan and BMD Constructions (INLink Joint Venture) wanted to give back to the community and will donate approximately 12 households worth of furniture to Can Assist in Parkes. How very generous!
