14.01.2022 A huge backyard transformation project we completed last year for our clients in Ngunnawal complete with a new deck & pergola, glass balustrades, paving, privacy screening & a large concreted area ready for a new spa. The deck, stairs, privacy screen & retaining walls all feature Millboards Weathered Oak decking. This composite solution has been moulded from 100-year old reclaimed oak timber, which creates a distinctive worn look with intricate & realistic details and is virtually maintenance free. 04.01.2022 To achieve the perfect at-home retreat many people incorporate a spa into their outdoor area. We designed this deck to seamlessly integrate with our client’s spa by optimising their space adding different layers to provide steps for easy access & additional seating. Our client now has the perfect spot to escape, relax & unwind after a long day.

03.01.2022 The key objective of introducing indoor-outdoor concepts in home design is to ensure that there is an easy passage between the two zones. For this project in Monash, we have installed large bifold doors which invite the sunshine in & frame the surrounding views of nature whilst creating a seamless transition out onto the new merbau deck with built in BBQ and bench seating.

01.01.2022 Message regarding CORVID-19: At this stage Canberra Decks are still operating as normal with only minor changes. We have implemented a series of measures to protect the health & safety of our employees & our clients including implementing social distancing measures across our work areas & increased hygiene practices. All onsite consultations are to be conducted in the outdoor spaces to be discussed. We will continue to monitor & introduce additional measures in accordance with the Australian Government health advice to protect our employees, our clients & maintain operations. As we are all likely to be spending a bit more time at home for a while our outdoor living space will become more important to us & we hope it can provide a positive haven, allowing you to relax & recharge.
