17.01.2022 International Nurses Day 2020 Today on International Nurses day we give special recognition for all the work nurses do throughout the year. Nurses are often the unsung heroes in the health system and we could not provide the range of services without your support. Dr Mark Porter and the team would like to thank you all personally for the wonderful and vital job you are doing in these difficult and changing times. ... COSM would also like to acknowledge special thanks to our registered nurse Vicky Matthews who joined COSM this year to assist with post-operative care of patients in our clinic. We feel very fortunate to have you on board with such wealth of experience in Orthopaedics. Thanks to all Nurses for their tireless efforts and work. #internationalnursesday, #bartonprivatehospital #nurses

05.01.2022 Many of our patients are fitted with a knee brace for injuries or post operative rehabilitation. Here is a instructional video with information about fitting the X-act from brace. Dr Porter will advice you/or physiotherapist about the ROM settings and timeframes to adjust. Generally we advice not to cut the straps (as shown in video) as you can fold the end over and re-attach the velco end straps over the fold. This will give you more options later when needing to adjust for clothing under brace or if straps stop sticking to one section. https://www.djoglobal.com/products/donjoy/x-act-rom-knee
