24.01.2022 Round 6 Fixtures - apologies this is late but here you go Blue family, the draw for 22 August 2020!! Royals are hosting the Easts under 8s side on Saturday morning so please say hi if you see them around the ground. *Stay tuned later on today for an announcement regarding ACT sportsgrounds

23.01.2022 Round 4 Fixtures - this is the most up to date info we have and as always, check with your coach/ manager tonight at training for any updates. An email will be sent out with further details tomorrow but just a couple of points re match day app and player registrations. Match Day App - Coach and Managers, please make sure you have functionality of the app prior to game day. There are a few common issues that come up so please read the email. If none of these fix the problem,... let De or Erin before Saturday know and we will escalate the issue with the necessary people to try and have them fixed prior to the weekend. Player Registrations - if anyone is still registered as training only, when you take the field on Saturday you aren’t insured and if you hurt yourself, you won’t be covered. Please update your registration before Saturday and if you run in to any issues with this, let De or Erin know. Good luck to all teams this weekend!

22.01.2022 Round 2 Fixtures - 25 July 2020 Please note these are current as of now and may change closer to the weekend. Remember to check with your coach/manager at training on Thursday to confirm nothing has changed. Due to the Covid cases down on the south coast, we decided that it was in the best interest of all involved for our U13 and U16 boys to have the weekend off. Boys, it’s still expected you attend training unless otherwise directed by your coach or manager.... On a final note, Erin is heading out of town for some much needed R & R. If you need anything urgently, talk to De at training or DM the page and one of the other committee members will get back to you as soon as they can. Stay safe Blue Family

18.01.2022 Hi Blue Family Any teams that are due to travel in to NSW on Saturday for games, a decision will be made on Thursday as to if the club will endorse any teams to travel. As I am sure you can appreciate, the landscape is constantly changing at the moment and the committee want to ensure that all of you are as safe as possible while playing the game we all love so dearly. We know this doesn’t leave teams much time to organise travel etc but we also want to give teams every opportunity to play. We hope you understand and as always, please don’t hesitate to contact Erin if you have any questions.

11.01.2022 Some good news Blue Family...ACT Sportsgrounds will reopen tomorrow morning at 6am. This means training will resume as of tomorrow afternoon. See you all there

11.01.2022 GRAND FINAL TICKET INFO ACT & SNSW Rugby Union have been provided with an exemption to have an increase in the crowd limits at Viking P...ark for this weekend’s Premier Rugby Grand Finals. This exemption see’s Viking Park effectively split into two separate venues with each game treated as its own separate event. ACT & SNSW Rugby are permitted to have 700 spectators on Field 1 and 250 spectators on Field 2. Participating clubs will have an allocated amount of tickets per game that their spectators/supporters will be able to purchase. Remaining tickets will be sold to the public on the Friday morning. An update will be posted on our Facebook pages when those tickets will become available. There will be no walk up ticket purchases and no Pass Outs. Entry to the Grand Finals will only be possible with a ticket. For those that can’t make the day, we will be livestreaming all Grand Final matches with thanks to our filming and livestreaming partner BarTV Sports

11.01.2022 Update for U13s, U14s & U16 boys As you are all scheduled to play in Jindabyne this weekend, I can confirm that your games will be going ahead. Due to the current environment though, you are all to adopt the ‘get in and get out’ policy we have been following at training. As much as we love our NSW friends, for the safety of our team mates, family and friends, we need to save our socialising for when we are in safer times. Regarding transportation, it is preferable that t...here is no more then one parent/guardian and three children per car or less where possible. Also, if you wake up feeling unwell on Saturday, let your coach or manager know and stay at home and rest and we look forward to having you back when you feel better. Games times are as follows: U13s-10:15am U14s - 11:15am U16s - 1:15pm Times for the other teams who are playing locally, will be confirmed in due course. Cheers Committee

This is a wonderful result and well deserved for all of the hard work you put in this season!! 06.01.2022 Round 10 - apologies about the late posting but good luck to all, especially for those competing for a spot in their grand finals! It’s been an complex year for us all but we have hung in right until the end and kept smiling all the way

05.01.2022 Blue Family....Great news today that Round 1 can go ahead as we had hoped for and had been planning for!! There are still a few minor changes to the draw so I will publish that tomorrow but in the meantime there are a few things I’d like to bring to everyone’s attention. 1. We are generally limited on numbers allowed at each field and this is inclusive of coaches, managers, players, spectators, trainers etc. So for now this means that we can really only have one parent/gua...rdian per player in attendance. While this is not ideal, it’s what we have to manage for the time being. 2. Also we need to stick to the ‘get in’ and ‘get out’ policy which we have been applying at training. What this means is that with the exception of jerseys, turn up ready to play and unless your required for another game, head home straight after your game has finished. 3. Recording of attendance at games is essential. You will be asked to record your details in a book for contract tracing purposes and we also strongly advise you to download the COVID-19 app to support the movement by the governing bodies. 4. Please continue to bring your own drink bottles and remember to bring your mouthguard. 5. Also for those who are still registered as training only, please remember fully register through the Xplorer app. If you aren’t fully registered you won’t be covered and you won’t be able to take the field. 6. Finally, if you are feeling unwell or are showing flu/ cold like symptoms, please stay home and rest. Good luck for round 1...it’s been a long time coming and going to look and feel a little different then normal but we have finally made it . Let’s remember to be patient and kind to each other and remember, it’s about the rugby and having fun with our friends!
