25.01.2022 And just like that it’s a wrap from the Canberra Barabarians Cobra 10s Boys. We finished a respectable 3rd overall out of some unreal and talented international sides. We also made a few lifelong bonds and lifetime friends along this journey and hope to have made each and everyone of you proud as it was our main goal and driving motivation in each game. And of course this trip would never of been possible without the generous support of Milestone Financial, Diafora Painting, Paint Place Mitchell, Ruatec Ltd Pty, Baymor Electrical, CPC Painting, MB Painting, AGroup Painting, MPS for the kit, Wests Rugby and finally each and everyone of you from buying a raffle ticket to sending supportive messages we are truly grateful. 20.01.2022 RECAP: Day 1 Cobra 10s 2018 The Canberra Barbarians battled it out in 3 games today - An early win over West Coast Sharks (South Africa), a loss under the midday heat against current Cobra 10s 2017 Champions Daveta (Fiji), and a closing win over UPM Angels (Malaysia) - Finishing second in their pool (behind Daveta) to progress to the Cup Quarter Finals!! The boys are very grateful for all the support they have been getting from back home - time to bring on Day 2!! ... 02.01.2022 After Captain Runs last night, the Canberra Barbarians were fortunate enough to be invited to a pre-tournament dinner with Fezia Tyebally!! Fezia currently operates a Rehabilitation Centre in Malaysia and kindly offered her services by providing two Physiotherapists to join our team during the Cobra 10s tournament!! We are sincerely grateful for her kind generosity so the Barbarians signed an ACT Brumbies jersey as a souvenir from Canberra, and as a massive gift of tha...nks from us, to her and her staff!!
