16.01.2022 I think it is important to have positive support around virtually in all of life’s stressful phases yet especially when having a new baby. Here is the thing: There is only one Mum like you and only one baby like yours and ultimately only one family like yours- so why compare ourselves to anyone really? ...

15.01.2022 Having a new baby can keep you on your toes a lot. When you feel so hungry, yet feel that there is simply no time to prep a snack for yourself, then things like these little energy balls might come in handy- super easy to make, you can store in an airtight container in the fridge for a few days or freeze them. They also make a great present for a new Mum or a Mum to be... Recipe in comments.

14.01.2022 Anyone out there thinking These qualities in a man are hot?

14.01.2022 Having surgery is stressful enough. If you want to continue breastfeeding it is important to ensure that you keep your boobs comfy. Depending on the drugs that you will need you may need to express your breasts and discard your milk or just express and still use the milk. It is worth to have a plan in place before surgery. If you have emergency surgery please ensure that the hospital is aware that you are breastfeeding and still ensure that your breasts are emptied to avoid engorgement or even mastitis.

12.01.2022 So true.... sometimes Breastfeeding Goals appear a galaxy away when times are tough.... breaking it down into the small steps and taking each of these steps one by one can feel more achievable.... keep breathing Mumma

10.01.2022 When I worked as private Midwife as well as in my role today I always had and have a specifically soft spot for the siblings to be... I always felt that their experience of pregnancy, birth and breastfeeding mattered so much, as it was part of their future memory that they would take into their own journey one day... I started Midwifery in the 90ies and after graduating straight went into private practice including supporting new Mums to breastfeed- some days I think that the siblings from those days are now possibly parents and hope that I helped making their childhood memories around having babies a little more positive

10.01.2022 If I would have been given $5 every time parents to be or new parents asked me about the colour of the milk and were worried that their little one wouldn’t thrive on the milk alone... I could have certainly have part of a house deposit by now.... T YI- TT TIO TO IY O

09.01.2022 Do you feel like this certain days?????

07.01.2022 One of the questions that comes up in many of the visits that I do in the community is: " What is the BEST method to latch the baby" For me that is a bit like trying to expect all women to have the same bra size... we never would expect a " one size fits all approach " there. So why do we expect that " baby led" , " mother led", " "Thompson method" or similar is the universal solution when it comes to Mums and Babies? - There is not just one but two people involved physically, emotionally.... So my answer has to be: " the best attachment is what works for you ". Seeing an IBCLC is about individualised support every single time.

05.01.2022 Yes- you are not alone in this

05.01.2022 This made me laugh:) Possibly would add: and you start leaking

04.01.2022 A good reminder...

02.01.2022 When you wake up to find your story in a newsletter.... I always have loved the The Natural Parent Magazine I love the design that in a gentle way gets under your skin... I love the articles, and the businesses featured...

02.01.2022 When days and nights become one blurry time zone with a little one you may yearn those days before children..... yet babies don’t understand what rhythm is...yet... especially in the newborn phase there is so much going on for them- and for you. Try to slow down Mumma, get all the help you can, allow others to spoil you and rest when bub is resting.... those early days will not last forever
