25.01.2022 This weekend, the CIRC Rock Squad is heading off to Sydney to compete in the 2020 ACT/NSW Boulder Titles. We're so thankful for the opportunity for our kids to compete in a year where we weren't even sure if the gym would be opening its doors again. We wish all members of Rock Squad and their coaches, Kale McCauley and Campbell Miller, best of luck in the competition, and hope that it's a grand experience for all regardless of who's on the podium at the end. #climbCIRC

Due to a high number of registrations, we opened a second time slot for our Geckos, and this has bumped some of the other categories around. 23.01.2022 The most frequently asked question we're getting at the moment is, "Do I need to make a booking?" We are currently only taking bookings for groups of 10 or more people. If your group is smaller than that, you're welcome to just show up, no booking required. As the ACT is still in Stage 4 of restrictions, we are back to full capacity, which means there's plenty of space for everyone. The gym will be very busy, and our maximum capacity is 100 people, so there will be limited spaces. 21.01.2022 We have spots available in our Term 1 Rock Rats program at Hume! Rock Rats is a coached, 10-week climbing program for children 9 years old and younger. Term 1 will begin February 1st. The cost is $220, which includes one training session per week, as well as full-access membership to both of our gyms with gear hire, so your kids can climb at our gyms as much as they like outside of class. During their training sessions, the kids will climb in groups of four with one of our co...aches, learn climbing techniques, and build strength and confidence on the wall. Before enrolling, please understand that this is 10-week commitment, and regular attendance is important. The program will cost $220 whether you attend all 10 training sessions or just a couple. We do not do come-and-try sessions. If you're unsure of whether your child will enjoy rock climbing, we recommend bringing them in for a casual visit before you enrol them. 18.01.2022 Canberra Indoor Rock Climbing's 2020 Squad Competition took place on Sunday, November 22nd. This competition was open only to members of our climbing squads, and these are photos from the Rock Squad category. Rock Squad is our elite climbing squad that represents CIRC on a state and national level. Due to COVID, there were few opportunities for them to compete these year, and we loved watching the enthusiasm they brought to the Squad Comp. 01.01.2022 Heads up! The Mitchell bouldering cave will be closed from this Wednesday, Nov 18th for a big reset in preparation for the 2020 Squad Competition. Competitors registered for the comp will not be allowed into the cave until Sunday. The cave will be open to the public again on Monday, Nov 23rd. The entire Mitchell gym will be closed to the public on Sunday November 22nd for the 2020 Squad Comp. Hume will be open as normal, so be sure to head there for your Sunday climb.
