Allergic rhinitis that is not well controlled can increase the risk of ...a person developing asthma. If you already have asthma, having better control of your allergic rhinitis can assist with having better control of your asthma. This mean if your allergic rhinitis is not under control your asthma will also be more severe. If your allergic rhinitis affects your daily life speak with your GP. You may need a referral to a clinical immunologist/allergy specialist who will discuss further treatments available for you such as allergen immunotherapy.
