A Wesley Music Scholar in 2019, Shane is currently studying under scholarship a...t the ANU School of Music. Frequent performances around Canberra has allowed him many opportunities to hone and present his music; providing an abundance of opportunities to engage in workshops, masterclasses and ensemble playing with various local and visiting artists. Shane was awarded the 2017 and 2018 ANU Friends of the School of Music Ensemble Prize and in 2018 received third prize at the New Zealand International Guitar Competition. We're thrilled to have him on stage!

The program provides regular dance classes for ACT communities with Parkinson’s disease, Dementia, Multiple Sclerosis and other chronic conditions. There is a growing body of medical evidence strongly validating the importance of exercise in the maintenance of our wellbeing physically, cognitively and socially. Dance ticks all those boxes in one fun package, and with a strong underpinning philosophy of accessibility and arts for all, Belconnen Arts Centre is pioneering these programs in the ACT. So come and join us as we support our friends continue using dance as a mechanism to improve and sustain wellbeing!!!!
