25.01.2022 Trains & more trains at Canberra Miniature Railway, Jerrabomberra Avenue, Symonston on Sunday 13 December! We will be offering rides on the Yerrabi Line to the top of the hill to Monaro Road Station and our 5 inch gauge Mura line takes you round Cactus Hill, though the tunnel and return to Symonston Station. Still only three dollars a ride or $15.00 pp for an all day unlimited trips ticket. Best value in town! As always, free parking, canteen facilities, (check out our new undercover seating) and please wear ENCLOSED footwear. ACT COVID rules apply.

25.01.2022 Our next public running day playing trains at Canberra Miniature Railway, Jerrabomberra Avenue, Symonston is Sunday 11 October. We will be offering rides on the Yerrabi Line to the top of the hill and our 5 inch gauge line takes you though the tunnel. If you need a venue for a birthday party we offer a $30.00 package which includes a BBQ (not food), seating, enclosed area AND we will provide one all day pass for the birthday child. 21.01.2022 On SUNDAY (23rd Feb) experience fun for all the family with a special display by the Canberra Antique & Classic Motor Club at Canberra Miniature Railway, Jerrabomberra Avenue, Symonston, ACT. Our trains will run from 10 am until 2.30 pm taking you on a ride on the Yerrabi Line to overlook the Molonglo Valley and back to the Station or on our mini train round the hill and through the tunnel! Rides are only $3.00 or get an all day ticket for $15.00 to ride as many times as you want! Kids under 4 ride for free when accompanied by a fare paying passenger. Please note ENCLOSED FOOTWEAR IS A MUST.

20.01.2022 Canberra Miniature Railway will be open for public rides on 26 July. A new station, different trains and two different rides are all features to come and see. Party and family area, food and drinks from the Dining Car, free parking. Enclosed footwear is a MUST! Rides are still only $3.00 with an all day unlimited ride ticket for just $15.00. You will all know about general COVID restrictions and we too have a plan to stick to the rules so while all that is going on in the background we will be asking for your forbearance as we settle in to the new controls! The main focus though will be on our usual service to give you a great day out with the family. Please remember the ENCLOSED FOOTWEAR requirement. As usual CANTEEN will be open. Canberra Miniature Railway IS CLOSED TO THE PUBLIC. All public running is suspended from today until further notice. People who booked birthday parties are being contacted by us.... We apologise to all our wonderful supporters and look forward to welcoming you back when the health risk to you all has abated.

08.01.2022 Our contribution to Canberra Day weekend & Enlighten is our final TWILIGHT RUNNING for the season on SUNDAY 8 MARCH UNDER THE LIGHTS. Hours will be 5.30 pm until 9.30 pm. Party bookings with seating and a BBQ (not food) are available via 1300 731 954 for $30.00 which includes an all night ride ticket valued at $15.00. This evening REPLACES our normal 10 am - 2.30pm running times. Parking is free and our "Dining Car" will be open for food and drinks. PLEASE NOTE ENCLOSED FOOTWEAR is a MUST! We regret, due to track maintenance, only the Yerrabi Line (the big trains!)will be operating.

A miniature train ride is just the tonic for kids of all ages to enjoy some fun with friends and family. We are open on Sunday from 10 am until 2.30 pm with rides on our two tracks. Rides are only $3.00 each or $15.00 for unlimited rides. Our Yerrabi Line will take you to the top of the hill overlooking the Molonglo Valley and our ever popular 5 inch track will take you aroun...d the hill and through the tunnel.
