NPLW first grade triumphed 6-2 over Canberra United Academy after the 13s (4-0) and 15s (2-0) recorded victories earlier in the day.... 15.01.2022 UJDUR'S UPDATE Canberra Olympic's Technical Director Steve Ujdur has congratulated four men's first grade debutants after the team's 2-1 victory over Tuggernanong United on Sunday. James Crawford cracked the starting XI, while Will Buckmaster, Ben Carling and Luka Usljberka came off the bench. "I'm very proud of their development," Steve said after the win. He also praised Cale Brown on his continued selection and sent his best wishes to Tim Bobolas after a head knock.... Steve noted Olympic's 13s development squad notched a sixth-straight victory. "This is testament to the great work of coach Peter Caban, as well as NPL coaches Adam Kaufhold and Andrew Richards." #OlympicFamily #Since1956

04.01.2022 SCINTILLATING SEASON Canberra Olympic’s U18 NPL Youth side secured the premiership with a 4-2 victory over Canberra Croatia on Sunday, with one game still to play. COFC Technical Director Steve Ujdur said it was a fantastic achievement to go through the season undefeated. COFC have a great future with the likes of these lads, he said.... Steve praised Luka Usljebrka, who is in the box seat to win the Golden Boot after scoring 16 goals in just nine games this season. He also congratulated Odhran Traynor on his last game with the club, as his family is moving to Brisbane. Olympic wishes him well for the future, Steve said. The Technical Director said junior boys physio Graeme Nielsen had served the club brilliantly. He has my vote as clubman of the year, Steve said. 04.01.2022 THANK YOU Canberra Olympic Technical Director Steve Ujdur has expressed his deep gratitude to all NPL men’s and NPLY coaches, managers, physios and helpers for their efforts across the 2020 season. While it was a challenging year due to COVID-19, our coaches and volunteers went above and beyond, he said. I want to thank everyone involved in the NPL men’s and NPLY teams. Their hard work on and off the pitch was crucial to the club in 2020.... I also want to make a special mention of junior physio Graeme Nielsen who worked tirelessly for all teams. Steve also thanked the Hellenic Club and Rusty Mals owners Nassi and Geraldine Savloudis for providing spaces for team bonding, meetings and presentations.
