25.01.2022 Canberra Town Planning are working with our client Zapari Group on a proposal for a new mixed-use development set to transform a key section of the Woden Town Centre. Zapari is seeking community feedback on the proposal. Please get in touch if you would like to provide a submission on the plans or if you’d like further details.

23.01.2022 The Canberra Town Planning team are hosting an information drop-in session to discuss and provide comments on a proposal by our clients, Scentre Group, to build a new commercial building in the Woden Town Centre. You can find us at Bonner House East, 1 Nepture Street, Phillip, this coming Thursday, 29 October between 5:30 pm and 7:30 pm. We look forward to seeing you there.

22.01.2022 We're hosting community information sessions for the Equinox 2 proposal for our clients Evri Group who are planning to extend the precinct with a new building on the former Canberra West Bowling Club site in Deakin. A virtual presentation and Q&A will be held on Tuesday, 27 October from 5:30 pm - 6:30 pm, while a physical drop-in session will be held on Wednesday, 28 October between 5:30 pm and 7:00 pm at Level 3, Equinox 1, 70 Kent Street, Deakin. 18.01.2022 We're incredibly proud of our friend and colleague Michael Cusack, who was recognised with a Commendation by the Planning Institute of Australia as part of their 2020 ACT Awards. A manager with Canberra Town Planning and an up-and-coming leader in the planning profession, Michael is recognised and respected for his technical skills, his strong work ethic and the collaborative and consultative approach he takes to everything he does. MIchael is widely known as a people person who goes out of his way to find practical, workable solutions to problems. Congratulations Michael!

11.01.2022 Canberra Town Planning Director Nichelle Jackson took time out of her busy schedule last week to attend a Salon Canberra lunch. Featuring guest speaker Shannon Battisson President with The Australian Institute of Architects, ACT Chapter, it was a great opportunity to take part in a conversation with other industry professionals about design, architecture, heritage and housing, and future planning for our city.

08.01.2022 Advice for our clients: the ACT Government have updated their pre-DA community consultation guidelines. The new guidelines will apply to proposals submitted after 1 January 2021, and require additional consultation processes. Details are available at:
