13.01.2022 "Alice" presented to our practice with a rotated lateral incisor and divergent central incisors. She didn't want to have 'braces' and preferred some veneers to improve her aesthetics as a more affordable and faster solution for her case.

03.01.2022 Is an electric toothbrush better than a manual toothbrush? CANBERRY DENTAL GUNGAHLIN You can brush your teeth effectively with a manual toothbrush using the correct technique. The electric toothbrush can be a great complement to a manual toothbrush, especially if you have mobility problems in your hands like arthritis. Many electric toothbrush's have a vibratory mechanism that helps with the plaque removal from your teeth. Plaque causes decay and gum disease.... A manual toothbrush can be easily controlled and focused in specific areas where you want to reinforce your brushing. My personal recommendation as a dentist is to keep 2 different toothbrushes ( electric and manual) at the same time and alternate their use for an effective tooth brushing. We all get used to the same toothbrush after a week of usage and then we may not reach critical areas, if you alternate your brush, you will feel like having a new brush everyday! ;-) Dr Veronica Adam Canberry Dental Gungahlin ACT
