Clinton met with Phil today to have a chat about some surgery he is having next Thursday to remove secondary melanoma. Clinton, and many others that MelanomaWA support, demonstrate that you can recover, continue to live well and have a full life once secondary Melanoma has been removed. Lets face it; Melanoma can be scary, but if managed properly u...nder the care of health professionals and with early detection, it doesnt have a right to take centre stage. melanomaWA is here to support people like Phil, or anyone else who has been touched directly or indirectly by Melanoma. Keeya works full time as a legal aid for refugees (Im already impressed), she is still studying law full time, she is on the Board for three different charities.......AND.....and she has been training for the Cairns Ironman 70.3 this Sunday, June 8th, for the past six + months. Keeyas own inspiration comes from her mother ...who has had advanced Melanoma, and is recovering. Keeya would like to use the Cairns Ironman to raise awareness of Melanoma and funds for melanomaWA so we can keep doing work to promote early detection and education about how to prevent Melanoma. We feel privileged that Keeya has chosen to highlight our activities. Keeya needs a bit of help to reach her goals and we are more than happy to ask you to please consider supporting Keeya for her amazing efforts.
