The mask may protect you from droplets when an infected person speaks, coughs, or sneezes, and you are less than 1.5m away from them. ... I have seen a lot of progress made in my lifetime in initiatives across Indigenous education, university achievements, employment and health. It’s important we contin...ue to invest in and promote these initiatives to extend the great achievements we have already seen. Closing the Gap is something we’re continuing to work towards and having these targets is important to measuring our success.

18.01.2022 Once you hear the jingle, it’s hard to get it out of your head. Cancer Council first brought Sid Seagull onto our screens in the 1980s, and today, his message is as important as ever. This National Skin Cancer Action Week, we’re teaming with the Australasian College of Dermatologists to bring him back and encourage all those ‘80s kids who are now parents themselves to stay SunSmart this summer. A lot has changed since the ‘80s, but it’s still the same sun. UV radiation is just as dangerous, and sun protection is still the best defence against skin cancer.

02.01.2022 On Sunday, over 300 Australians joined the first ever Cancer Cruise hosted by the Box Rallies community. Each of the teams enjoyed a relaxed drive together along a beautiful course and celebrated raising over $89,000 for cancer research in Australia. Amazing!
