14.01.2022 We recently discovered that one of our incredible Crews was set up as a ‘gift’ for a friend who was having a rough time. They knew she needed help but would ...be reluctant to ask. They wanted to make it as easy as possible for her to say yes. Setting up a Crew and letting her know they were all there, ready and willing to help was the first step in making a positive change in their friends’ life and a ‘gift’ that will never be forgotten. It’s easy to set up a Crew when you need it, visit our Facebook page for more information.

13.01.2022 CANCELLED..... Unfortunately, due to the extension of the Declaration of State of Emergency and the current state wide restrictions in place, we very sadly are ...not going to be able to proceed with our brain cancer retreats in 2020. Given the forever changing landscape we are finding ourselves in and the uncertainty surrounding if and when restrictions will be lifted to a point of allowing large groups to gather, we are not, as an organisation, in a position to advise on rescheduled dates for the event at this current point in time. Nevertheless, once our new dates have been set for 2021 then we shall update it here on our social media!! In the meanwhile, if you are interested in connecting with other patients or carers across Australia, then please feel free to book into our monthly online brain tumour support group sessions via Zoom. We would love to have you participate. https://www.peaceofmindfoundation.org.au/counselling-suppor If there is any other way that we can assist you, then please do not hesitate to get in touch. Stay safe xoxo

04.01.2022 In her seventeen years at the helm, Camp Quality founder Vera, with the unflinching support of her husband Brian, created Kids’ Camps, Family Camps and the Prim...ary School Education Program. She helped communities launch their own Camp Qualitys, including overseas in Ireland, India and New Zealand. An indomitable leader, Vera raised funds and grew a dedicated crew of volunteers and, despite losing 37 of the 38 children from that first Camp, never wavered from her vision of improving the ‘quality’ of the lives of kids growing up with cancer, even though she couldn’t change the ‘quantity' of their lives.
