25.01.2022 Yet another recovery update: Dec '18. 3 operations in 9 days removed my fake ribs and a lot of infected tissue. Feeling more normal than I have in almost a year. No seromas or cancer left, but have just found out I have several Gallstones. Should hopefully be keyhole surgery, yet to discuss with GP. Believe recovery this time will be quicker and I'm hoping easier.

24.01.2022 Is there anyone heading to Ballarat this Monday?(please dont take time off work) I have a surgical follow-up appointment at 11:45. I could catch a train.... but I would be in Ballarat at 8am

23.01.2022 Recovery UPDATE for clients: At this stage it is still uncertain as to when I will be able to return. Have just started Physio and they aim to do their best to get me back to work as soon as possible. So unfortunately I won't be returning anytime soon

23.01.2022 Being sick is most annoying! This time I am taking time off to recover, hopefully this bug won't take 4 weeks to move on. So much to do and no energy to do it all with.

23.01.2022 On the 12th day of Christmas, Candy cleaned for me.....12 weeds were pulled, 11 stains removed, 10 windows washed, 9 pictures dusted, 8 dishes dried, 7 vacuumed... floors, 6 floors were mopped....... 5 HOURS WORKED..... 4 beds were made, 3 rooms arranged, 2 spiders killed and a sparkling clean oven........... Merry Christmas!!!!! See more

22.01.2022 Do you have any idea just how hard it is to mop a floor with half a pole??? Through experience, I can honestly say it's the most difficult thing I've ever had to do! Blooming thing just busted half way through a job.

20.01.2022 I have a client, who will be going overseas for an extended period and she was wondering if I knew anyone who would like to take some Isa Brown chickens and a couple of ducks? Pretty sure they would be going for free. I'd love to take the ducks, but have inadequate fencing/housing.

20.01.2022 Energy Energy Where for art thou Energy ....Wishing this flu bug would bugger off and leave me alone

19.01.2022 Sorry I haven't kept you all updated with my recovery lately. 8 months on and I'm still nowhere near returning to work. Just recently (within the past 2 months) I've had a couple of what was believed to be abcysts, but after today's ultrasound and pathology test it's simply a build up of fluid from an old drainage site (from those who know, it was the drainage site I was suspicious of). My oncologist is organising a meeting with a surgeon at BRICC Ballarat, there is a possibilty of needing this fluid sac to be surgically removed. Not sure how invasive that procedure will be, so can't say if that will push my recovery back even further. Last time I spoke to my surgeon, he couldn't even guarantee that I would actually return to work. I will try to keep you all updated more often.

13.01.2022 To all my clients, please have a bit of patience with me as I currently experiencing extreme discomfort and occasional pain in my neck. Have been to docs and had acupuncture, so far hasn't alleviated the problem. Am trying to work through it, but obviously am not able to perform at my best. Thank you.

12.01.2022 Not liking this heat at all.....due to the fact that I don't have aircon in my car 45+ degrees and it's an automatic cancelled day. 40-45 degrees will be a struggle, so please don't expect too much from me. I suffer from heat exhaustion quite easily. Thank you for your understanding.

09.01.2022 I cannot thank Gerard Wendels and Sullyz Auto Electrical & Mechanical highly enough for helping get my car back on the road. Am going through some rough patches and to have my car die put an extreme amount of pressure on me financially and mentally. The gratitude I feel is incomprehensible and am truely so thankful to you Gerry for helping me out.

07.01.2022 <3 LOVING the cooler weather <3 !! Come back winter!!

07.01.2022 Christmas is fast approaching......can all my clients please let me know via inbox or sms, what your movements will be over the xmas/new year period. (going away, hosting guests, etc) Need to know so I can reorganize everyone accordingly. Thank you.

05.01.2022 One more like till I hit 100. Not bad for a small town cleaner.

04.01.2022 Sorry to say that there is too much stress involved with trying to re-organize clients over the silly season. I have decided to take a week off. 25th-31st December. For those that are scheduled for this week I'm afraid will have to wait until their next due day. Hope you all have a spectaular Christmas and please do not drive if you intend on 'having a few'....we all know it ends up being a lot more. Stay safe and I will see you in 2014.

03.01.2022 Unfortunately, at this stage I am unable to take anymore new Bendigo clients. I have a back up list of clients if there happens to be any cancellations. Will be 1st in, best dressed. Thank you for your understanding and if you would like to be on the back-up list please inbox your contact details. Thank you!

02.01.2022 Thank you sooo much to my wonderful clients with the pool. Was invited to take a dip to cool down after my shift......Ohh soo gooood!

01.01.2022 Recovery update: Have been going to the pool for physio once a week and am finding it much better and easier. Can build up my cardio without impact and using foam dumbells for resistance. Ideally I'd love to be doing it at least every 2nd day, but the budget won't allow for it at the moment. And I don't have a car to drive to the res/river. Pain-wise, I'm doing 80% better than this time last year, still am unable to vacuum the house without pain (no carpet). To my clients: I'm so sorry it's taken me so long to get back to helping you out. Who would have thought that my medical situation/issues would be as unique as my character!!
