10.01.2022 It is with sadness today that we hear of the death of former Queensland Agriculture Minister Tim Mulherin. As a Mackay MP with a family history steeped in the sugar industry, CANEGROWERS had worked closely with Mr Mulherin. While our views may not always aligned, as a minister he was just a phone call away. He listened to industry and always held a deep interest in the welfare of agriculture and farmers. He has particularly left a mark on rural training and skill development which he saw as key to agriculture’s future.
