17.01.2022 Meet Theodore. He was a very angry and nervous little guy when I got him (he still is) but hes come a long way. Here's some retriever training I do with him for fun. Some assisstance dogs are trained like this to pick up keys and objects for those with disabillities. He's scared of keys so I don't think he's got much of a future in assistance work lol. I'll be posting more videos of this guy in the future make sure to follow if you want to see more!

13.01.2022 There has been a number of tragic events occurring lately in the New Stead, Brisbane area. Up to 8 dogs have been baited over the last week by someone lacing meat with poision. Our condolences go out to all those affected and we hope justice is served as soon as possible. One way to possibly prevent such an occurence from happening to your dog is by bulletproofing their obedience. Dogs can make bad judgements at times, they chase birds, start fights and eat things they should...n't. So it's up to us to keep them safe. When we need to recall our dogs, get them to lie down or tell them to leave things alone then they should do it immediately for their own safety. The video below is a showcase on how you can train with high value distractions to help bulletproof obedience. Getting your dog used to obstaining from distractions can keep your dog safe when out in public and possibly prevent your dog from being harmed in the instance of baiting. We hope this helps give you some insight on how important obedience is for safety and what kinds of expectations you should have for your dog when it comes to obedience. Any dog can achieve these levels of obedience with the right systems of leadership and communication.
