20.01.2022 Updated: public notice, COVID-19 cases linked to Stockland Wetherill Park We have been informed today by NSW Health that five confirmed cases of COVID-19 have a...dvised they spent time at the following shops at Stockland Wetherill Park over the past two weeks: Coles, Thai Rock, Priceline and Trims Fresh. We were also advised that a worker at Thai Rock restaurant Stockland Wetherill Park has returned a positive test for COVID-19. The person worked at Thai Rock Wetherill Park after 4pm on Thursday 9 July, and on Friday 10, Saturday 11, Sunday 12 and Tuesday 14 July. The worker began developing symptoms on Tuesday 14 July and was tested that day. All employees who have had contact with the worker are self-isolating and being tested. We have activated our protocols and are communicating with our retailers, customers and employees. The health and wellbeing of Stocklands customers, retailers and employees is always our highest priority and we are working closely with NSW Health on this matter. We ask that anyone who attended Thai Rock restaurant on the above dates immediately self-isolate and get tested for COVID-19, and anyone who has visited the nominated shops at Stockland Wetherill Park within the past fortnight remain vigilant in monitoring their health, and arrange to get tested immediately if you begin to display any symptoms. We undertake regular daily cleaning at Stockland Wetherill Park, and will be undertaking a full deep clean of the centre tonight at the close of trade, in line with NSW Health recommendations. Once this deep cleaning is complete, the centre will be open for trade tomorrow morning. Thai Rock is currently closed for deep cleaning and we are working closely with all our retailers during this period. In line with the NSW Governments advice, the centre remains open with hygiene and safety precautions and procedures in place. We encourage people to follow the NSW Government health advice and will provide further updates as available.

To all Club Executives, Following up on my email yesterday and todays teleconference with FNSW and Associations. The key points of the teleconference were;... Information Exchange: Lack of clarity of information being sent out by FFA to all registered players without notice. I know that there are many questions from clubs and your members about the viability of the football season. Id like to be clear that we at SDSFA and other NSW Associations are still working diligently to ensure that football can be played this season once the State Government gives the go ahead to resume. Competitions: We are basing competitions on football activity commencing from 31st May and competition scenarios around this date to get as many games as possible played. The competitions may look quite different to normal in these abnormal times. However, we strongly believe that sport and especially grassroots football with a membership of almost 2 million players and officials nationally will play a huge role in dragging the community out of this dreaded unprecedented time. We are also in discussions with our councils about extending the time for use of fields. AKV & Registration Fees: All Associations and FNSW continue to work with State Government on both Active Kids Voucher status and an integrated policy on refunds should it be required in some way. We have been promised by FNSW that this will be finalised early next week. Similarly with insurance premiums payable. Please share our Facebook posts to your page and lets keep everyone connected.
