24.01.2022 Training for Saturdays starts tomorrow at 6:30 at Willetton sports club, Burrendah Blvd, Willetton. Anyone interested in having a go, and those from last year are invited to come down. See you all then!

22.01.2022 As posted below the meeting was a solid success tonight and its with great pleasure we confirm that the Saturday State League side will be back bigger and better for 2012. 21.01.2022 Just to let you all know I am in the process of organising our 2nd Pre Season Goalkeeping Camp starting in Jan 2012. The Goalkeeping Centre of Excellence Pre Season Camp is a must for any goalkeeper wanting to go back to their respective clubs fully fit and ready for the season ahead.... The camp is designed for goalkeepers aged 14 yrs and above. 2012 sees the camp entering its second year with a structured programme designed especially for improving every goalkeepers game. The course includes fitness techniques and goalkeeping skills,all of which are practised in small groups. I will also be working on a Goalkeeping Holiday Clinic to take place in the Jan holidays for those GKs that are interested . More info to follow when the location and times have been organised. 19.01.2022 State League Division 1 Round 2 result: Canning City 2-2 Dianella White Eagles Canning City Football Club drew 2-2 at home with Dianella White Eagles on Saturday in the State League Division 1. After an initial 15 minute period under pressure from Dianella, Canning gradually took control of the match. Chances opened with player/coach Paul Van Dongen and then new signing Anthony Campbell having shots saved in the 20th and 30th minute respectively followed by a free kick award...ed to the home side from 35 yards out which Michael Lawson hit spectacularly towards goal, only for the opposition keeper save in equally spectacular fashion. Just before the half time whistle Anthony Campbell managed to get ahead of the crowd to poke in a rebound from Daniel Trevisiol's whipping left foot shot to send Canning ahead 1-0 at the break. The second half was much of the same with Canning controlling proceedings for the most part before Paul Van Dongen converted with a well taken diving header following an Anthony Campbell cross. The tempo of the game slowed dramatically and club legend Paul Oliver was able to make his first appearance for the club since 2009 together with new signing, striker Richard Burton. Unfortunately however a late surge from Dianella resulted in two goals within the last 5 minutes, making the final score a somewhat surprising 2-2. Earlier in the day Canning City's 18's and Reserves won both their games 2-1. Canning take on Cockburn City at Dalmatinac Park in next weekend's game, kick off 3pm. See more

17.01.2022 Pre-season social kick about is starting on Wednesday 9th November at 7.30pm. It will be a mix of anyone who wants to come down for a kick around from all teams. Guests welcome too. So get on down and get involved. Even though the Sports Club has now closed we should still have access to all facilities.

11.01.2022 Good morning all. Finally some details on the senior awards night. This is open to junior side of the club too.... 29th November at 630 for a 7pm start. Location: Tompkins on swan river view room. $100 ticket includes buffet and drinks. If each table could have a go to man who can organise tickets and payments with joa. ( pm me for details.) Makes it easier for everyone. As we have the river view room ask famly and friends to join and try make a table your self's. We have several senior member retiring and would be nice to make a crows to celebrate their achievements not only for the club but for soccer in general.

05.01.2022 On behalf of the Canning City FC it give me great pleasure to offically announce the appointment both Paul and Mick Van Dongen as player/coaches for the 2012 season. We are glad to have the two lads back on board, this is a great result for the club going forward. These two players are well known are the local leagues and can hopefully take the club back to the Premier League where we belong. Both players were apart of the inaugral Canning City team and we are confident that this appointment will attract both past/current players back to the club along with spectators. Shane Laing and Greg Newcombe will continue as the coaches of the reserve team.

Once registered and paid your registration will remain Pending Awaiting Approval until the coordinators have team allocated. Induction day will be notified shortly on this page, all parents and players must attend this day for instructions on commencement of the season. ... Cancellation / Withdrawal If you have registered and you have changed your mind please email [email protected] to request your registration to be declined and for a refund. Please provide full name and bank account details for the refund. Kindly note a $10 fee applies per registration to cover costs on cancellation.

03.01.2022 Canning City Amateurs have started their pre season training already. If anyone is keen to join a league winning squad please reply to this post and we will inbox you the details of where and when. We train Tuesdays and Thursday and play sun days.

03.01.2022 The Canning City Socials have also started their pre-season training. Training is held Every Wednesday from 7pm at Willetton Reserve. Come down and ask for Frank if you're keen to join in. This season there will be 3 Socials teams playing in Metro South Div 1, 2 & 3 so there is plenty of opportunity for existing and new members to find a team that suits their social and playing requirements.
