21.01.2022 Congratulations to Nina Yeats! Nina has been selected for the 2020 WA State All Schools Team! Regrettably, due to the COVID-19 pandemic, no Australian All Schools Championships will be held in 2020.... However in recognition of the outstanding accomplishments of WA's top school-aged athletes, Athletics West are delighted to name the eligible team. In celebration of this accomplishment, the athletes will be able to purchase the official State Team uniform and compete in their State uniform at the Go For 2&5 Track and Field Program on Friday the 8th of January 2021. Well done Nina!!!

If you are feeling more competitive, our open membership gives you access to all competitions during the season. Each membership includes all club training sessions and gym access at no additional cost. Canning Districts members can also appl...y for $200 travel assistance for national and international travel. Membership allows athletes to participate in Athletics WA competitions, including the 2019 Go for 2 & 5 Track and Field Season and State and National events. CDAC Members pay a reduced competition entry fee at the time of registering for each competition compared to Athletics WA independent members.

16.01.2022 WA Day, Monday the 5th of June is our annual Colin Junner memorial fun run. Members, family and friends are welcome to join the club as we start off our public holiday the right way! Held at Kent St Weir in Cannington, just next to the cafe, there is a 3.5 or 7km course suitable for all ages and abilities. We will start at 8:30 am SHARP! So make sure you allow yourself enough time to warm up. Look forward to seeing you all there!

15.01.2022 Dear Members and Families, CDAC has been asked to provide volunteers to assist at the AWA Competition this Saturday 7th March 2020. The competition this Saturday is from 4.00pm to 7.00/8.00pm therefore volunteers will be needed between these times. We will clarify what time volunteers need to be at the track once we know. Volunteers will be allocated roles at the various events around the track to assist Officials with roles such as spiking, recording, and taking wind readin...gs.
