NADA (National Acupuncture Detoxification Association) pr...otocol for smoking cessation and addiction has been shown to be beneficial in the process of detoxification from substances and to help support the emotional, physical and psychological aspects involved in addiction. Ear acupuncture (or acupressure) is a treatment for smoking cessation using the NADA protocol It is typically recommended to be administered three times per week for the first two weeks, then two times per week for the following two weeks and as required after the four weeks. The initial four weeks will be where the most support is needed in the detoxification and withdrawal process.
