13.01.2022 1 Praise awaits you, our God, in Zion; to you our vows will be fulfilled. 2 You who answer prayer, to you all people will come. 3 When we were overwhelmed by sins, ... you forgave our transgressions. 4 Blessed are those you choose and bring near to live in your courts! We are filled with the good things of your house, of your holy temple. 5 You answer us with awesome and righteous deeds, God our Savior, the hope of all the ends of the earth and of the farthest seas From Psalm 65

10.01.2022 Chew on this Tuesday... Touching dirty things made one dirty. But when a Holy God touches you, He is not tainted, but you are made holy.

10.01.2022 Salvation or redemption means being restored to a position of sonship and fellowship with God. To claim to have received the gift of friendship with God while persisting in a life marked by alienation and enmity is clearly nonsense. - Graeme Goldsworthy, According to Plan. #SundaySanctification

05.01.2022 Ah. I've finally worked out how to do it!! (Share this page to our page that is). If you want to read through the Bible in a year - or if you want to just read through the Psalms or New Testament or even the Old Testament only in year - and if you want to do this with others, feel invited to join this group. You can also use the Bible in One Year app or web link too. If you download the app, you can even have it read to you while driving to work or whatever! (https://www.bibleinoneyear.org)

04.01.2022 Wednesday Wonderings... I wonder what God is using to communicate with you today?

04.01.2022 Wednesday Wonderings... I wonder whether God’s plan for my life might be different to my plan for my life? I wonder if it’s more about His glory, than ‘my best life’.

04.01.2022 Sunday Speculation...

04.01.2022 Hi church! It's been a different few weeks with all the Easter celebrations but tomorrow we are back at The Billabong at 4pm. See you there

03.01.2022 Lent begins today. A time to remember that we are dust, and to dust we will return; but that God became one of us, that we might rise like him at the Resurrection of the dead. Originally Lent was a 40 hour fast in the lead up to Easter - that is, Resurrection Sunday - for those about to be baptised; or those who’d walked away from Jesus now returning to him and church. Much later, it became a 40 day (not including Sundays, which always remember the Resurrection of Jesus) oppo...rtunity to give special attention to the meaning of the Cross. Why did Jesus die? What does it mean for us, and the world? What’s God really like, then? Some fast food, others alcohol, still others entertainments; the point being, not to break bad habits, but for a season to make a little more space in our lives for God. Here’s a link for a Lenten ebook, if it would be helpful for you. Short, insightful, daily thoughts on the meaning of Jesus’ death: 50 Reasons Jesus Why Jesus Came to Die. See more
