23.01.2022 Monikka Eliah joins us on Cannonball this Thursday from 4pm on Orbital Radio. Monikka is an Assyrian-Australian writer from Fairfield. She is a member of Sweatshop: Western Sydney Literacy Movement. Her work has been published in The Big Black Thing, SBS Voices, Sweatshop Women, Runway Journal, Southerly, Kill Your Darlings and The Lifted Brow. She received Southlands Breakthrough Award 2018 and Wheeler Centre Playwright Hot Desk Fellowship 2020. She has presented work at the... The niece, Dina, thinks they just need to stop buying cheap from Bigmart but her aunt, Ato Asyet believes the damage to be a sign from the great beyond. Through comedy and magic realism, the work explores culture, sustainability and family.

Big Ego Books was founded in 2015 by two art-book-obsessed best friends, Raquel Caballero and fellow artist Emily Hunt. Trading books via instagram and through an outpost at the now sadly defunct Alaska Projects in Kings Cross, Big Ego Books then took a two-year hiatus. 2021 saw them re-launch, bigger and better than ever, with Sydney and Berlin headquarters. You can follow them on instagram (@big_ego_books) where they post books weekly. Kyle Goldfinch is a 26 year old writer and filmmaker based in Sydney who has been highly engaged working in the LGBT screen space. He has been heavily involved in the non for profit organisation. Queer Screen, in numerous roles including general assistant, programming team and youth outreach officer for both the Mardi Gras Film Festival and Queer Screen Film fest. In his work with Queer Screen’s programming team Kyle has viewed hundreds of short films gaining a strong understanding of the world of queer cinema as well as an extensive network within the international queer film festival circuit. Kyle currently is at Flickerfest as the marketing and programming Assistant for Flickerfest 2021, He is also on the selection committee for film festivals like AFIN in Brisbane and Scout Film Festival in the US.

When Mackenzie returned to a design studios 4 years later - they noticed th...at briefing was still being managed via emails and internal servers - so they cancelled their flights Bali bound to become a digital nomad, and began building Brieft in Melbourne.
