22.01.2022 Just a reminder to everyone. Australian Standards AS1851 requires you to have a full exhaust system clean every year. Just look at how dirty an exhaust can get in just one year. This is one of our regular customers who gets a full annual clean. Our process exceeds Australian Standards and we feel that’s something to be proud of. Remember it’s not clean unless it’s Wide Bay clean.

17.01.2022 Our guy’s spend a lot of time on the road and away from home, and sometimes that means missing out on a birthday or two. Today was one such day for Kyle Kent . It’s his 28th birthday and I figured I oughta do something. So I went all out for him, no expense spared. Just look at the joy in that face. Happy birthday mate.
17.01.2022 Finally some good news. Today we were approved for the Job Keepers payment. Letting go of some of the best staff we’ve had was one of the hardest things for us to do, but now we are able to bring most of them back. Welcome back guy’s and thanks for your patience.
15.01.2022 To our valued customers. With regards to the outbreak of the corona virus, we would like to take this opportunity to let you all know that we will be trading as normal for now. However should the situation escalate we may have to suspend some services. Due to the size of our service area the risk of infection is quite high for us. Rest assured we are talking all necessary steps to keep our staff safe. Stay tuned for any updates. Stay safe and look after yourselves.
14.01.2022 We couldn't find anything to protect our valuable safety equipment, so we had to make something ourselves. Our first project was to protect the Tripod. This should work just nicely. Just as well I put wheels on it, this thing is heavy
14.01.2022 The boys are really happy with this clean 2 hrs to complete but the outcome was great. Remember it’s not clean unless it’s Wide Bay Clean! Going above and beyond any and all standards for over ten years.
12.01.2022 COVID 19 UPDATE FOR WBCFC CUSTOMERS During these uncertain times we are facing we would like to inform all our retail account customers (Not including commercial or corporate customers) that we have suspended all of our pending/overdue invoices until further notice. If you have an account that is due and you can pay it, it would be appreciated. However as many of you are facing difficult times ahead, please take this time to look after the ones you love and hopefully we will ...see all of you when this is over. The last thing we all need is another bill to worry about. We are doing this because without the support of all the "Mum & Pop" businesses out there, we wouldn't be here ourselves. We have also allocated a staff member to service Bundaberg reign businesses only. If you are one of the few still trading and require our services call Greg to book on 0403 072 862 We have taken all necessary health and safety measures to ensure our staff is protected and will continue to provide some sort of service to those needing it in our local area. 11.01.2022 Sometimes we get customers asking why Exhaust Cleaning is so expensive and we get it, it’s a big expense so I thought I’d share what goes into an exhaust system clean. Firstly we thoroughly inspect all our equipment required for the job then load it, sometimes requiring two or more vehicles. Take our latest job for example. Four staff, two vehicles and a lot of expensive equipment. We take our staffs safety very seriously. Here’s some of the equipment utilised today. An ex...tendable confined space tripod, two winches (type 2 for lifting and lowering and a type 3 for rescue and recovery), a specialised harness for working while suspended, three safety harnesses for working at heights, an industrial fan and flexible ducting for ventilation for the worker suspended inside the exhaust and a variety of industrial ladders from 0.9m step ladder to the 9.3m extension ladder. That’s well over $10’000 in equipment just there. (There’s much more but I’d be going on for ages ) We also have all of our safety equipment inspected every six months by a certified inspector. Not to mention all our staff are certified for Working At Heights (RIIWHS204D) and Confined Space (RIIWHS202D) On top of all that our cleaning processes exceed Australian Standards AS1851. I hope this sheds some light on some of the expenses we incur when on the job. So if you’re looking for a quality job done right by professionals give us a call to discuss your specific needs. We have considered our options and it is in the best interest of our staff and customers that we suspend all our services for the foreseeable future. 07.01.2022 Beautiful morning on the Burnett river this morning all be it a little chilly. Yet another fine effort from the Wide Bay Crew. Just look how clean this exhaust system came out.
06.01.2022 Well that was a mess. All that grease was removed from one very dirty fan. Should be able to breathe a lot better now. Can’t complain about the view though.
04.01.2022 There's nothing our hard working boys can't clean, big 3 hr job of grease oil and tears from Kyle and Michael whilst out on the rockhampton - Gladstone run.
03.01.2022 WBCFC COVID UPDATE. We are currently making plans to get back to business. Changes may be implemented as soon as the start of June. For those of you in the Mackay, Rockhampton and Emerald regions we will be providing a bimonthly service until things pick up. For Gladstone region we will be doing a fortnightly or monthly service depending on the demand. For all other areas please contact us for the latest service schedule. If your business requires more frequent filter change...s please let us know and we can provide a spare set of filters to be used until we can return. We will be complying with all government mandated safety measures. Some of the safety measures we are adopting are as follows. - All WBCFC vehicle’s get a full disinfect and wash down after every run - All equipment will also be washed and disinfected after every run - All WBCFC vehicle’s have been fitted with hand washing facilities - All WBCFC vehicle’s carry hand sanitizer - Staff will be washing hands after each customer - Staff will be maintaining social distancing We are committed to getting our guys back safely to work and to keep our customers doing what they do best.
