23.01.2022 Early morning club session. Four on the water 515am. Watched the sunrise. We are going to do this regularly.

22.01.2022 Sorry no photos... Been on the water most of the day. 830am serious hard outrigger training. 1130am Kristine steering amazingly... Home now I'm now taking Malcom advise nap time. We had two strong 70 year old paddlers paddling like they are 21... Probably better... I know I'm exhausted.. KRISTINE 2 x sessions blisters and all... AMAZING

22.01.2022 Our club is growing. I'm so loving the enthusiasm. From social to talking about a race... Plus getting the kids, Veterans and hopefully adaptive paddlers on board.. We are so blessed to be able share and grow this sport. By doing so we are making friends, getting people fitter, helping with mental health, having fun. I can now confidently steer on the Lake, I'm looking forward to a rookie race where I can Steer. We are hoping a grant will come our way to get a racing canoe. Outrigging is a non for profit sport. Where whole families can race and paddle together.

22.01.2022 Sad there’s no SHC this season? Don’t fret! NSW zone is working with a club to create a different style event on the 27 Feb 21. It will be approximately 20km, ...similar to SHC. Save the date and watch this space. We will bring you more details and news as approvals are gained!

Picking kids up, training them, feeding them, dropping them off.. It’s not the high performance coach that has the toughest job, it’s the parents that fill coaching roles on top of multiple jobs, at end hours of the day and through holidays that really make a big difference to our sport. We want to show our appreciation to all of those coaches who commit their time money and energy to developing our sport here in New Zealand! Find us paddling Valentine, warnersbay and soon competative crew will be surfing outside on the ocean. We are growing day by day.. Our aim is to get a kids crew for Pasha dasha.. Kids did 4km today... Great job all...

09.01.2022 2020 Bondi Regatta 2nd place in both short and long course for Canoe Academy! Great result! Great start to the season!

08.01.2022 A fun Weekend at Bondi Regatta with some great racing. Plenty of sunshine and a refreshing afternoon NE'er made for idyllic conditions on the water. First up... the OC1 races at 7:30 with Renee, Dave L. and Tony on the start line. Unfortunately Kerrie has been battling a NON -COVID virus for the last couple of weeks and wisely decided not to do the OC1 race. A strong performance from Renee to take out 2nd place in the Senior Masters Women 8 km event! Similarly Dave took 2nd place in the Senior Master Men 12km and Tony won the Golden Master Men 12km. Great racing guys with some strong competitors to test yourself against. OC6 12km Long Course next up at 12 noon. Team was Renee, Louise, Dave L, Tony, Lyn and Aaron. Big thanks to Canoe Academy in providing us with Lyn to step in for Kerrie. Thankyou Lyn for helping us out! A pretty rock and rolly trip once we got out the heads and headed south but lots of fun! We put in a solid performance and had a great battle for the 12km with a men's team. Great Steering Aaron, bommie punching and all. Please to report that we took out the Senior Master Mix division. Well done team! Great work Kerrie feeling well enough to take on the Short Course with Canoe Academy. Thankyou Joe and Jen and all the Canoe Academy paddlers for combining with us on the day to get us all on the water and doing what we love. Makes for great interclub friendships and forms strong bonds in our paddling community! Congrats on your impressive 2nd place in a very strong Masters Mix category! Once again well done Port Stephens! and see you all at training on Tuesday! See more

This means if you have not registered by this date you will not... be able to race. you will not be able to access the registration page after this date. Please do not leave it until the last minute.
