21.01.2022 We're out today at the kick off for the new Southern Sydney Metro rail enabling works in Surry Hills. Canopy Consulting has been engaged as the Project Arborist. We're here to ensure trees along the route are not significantly affected and provide compliance for the contractor.

19.01.2022 Were devastated by the bushfire crisis currently gripping Australia and are willing to help in the way we can. One of the biggest hazards following a bushfire is falling trees. This Thursday and Friday, we are offering pro bono tree assessments for bushfire damaged trees in the NSW Southern Highlands.... 19.01.2022 Mainly writing reports, we don't really get to show our work. But today, we were out supervising pruning for one of our clients with @forest_tree_service. The client was very impressed with the quality of work and outcome for the tree. All round

17.01.2022 An aerial assessment of the debatably biggest Spotted Gum (Corymbia maculata) in Avalon, NSW. Canopy Consulting complete these type of detailed inspection and reports for really significant trees (just like this one). This particular specimen was approximately 40m high and contained a huge amount of wildlife and habitat hollows. Its really important to manage and retain these ancient trees while also balancing potential hazards to our clients and their patrons. Fortunately, this tree can be retained with a little bit of pruning and ongoing inspections.
