24.01.2022 Saturday the club hosted this years Volkswagen Scramble. We had a great rollup with 17 teams playing. Winners were Sam Livingstone, Bret Gilmore, Dylan Gilmore and Jeremy Tadman with nett 57.25. Runners up were Adam Rogers, Troy McClintock, Matt Devlin and Mark Grant with a nett 58.75. A bit thanks to Mick Cassidy and Bruce Armstrong for manning the barbeque. Also thank you Tom Perfect from Cowra golf club for organising this event.... There were a number of visitors who commented on how good the course was so thanks must go to all our volunteers for this. Sunday men's golf was a 18 hole stroke and the playoff for the gold medal. 11 out of the 12 monthly medal winners contested for the gold medal. There were a lot of good scores on the day. Winner was Don Taylor with nett 65. Runner up was Brian Moon with nett 66 on a countback from Rob Lawrence.

23.01.2022 The 3 person $1000 day, postponed from two weeks ago, was played in brilliant sunshine. The first prize was hotly contested by 16 teams. Winners were John Lawrence, Cory Parish and Ned Grant with a nett 59. Thanks Rhonda for the barbeque lunch. Sunday was the Gillian Memorial day, a 2 person Ambrose sponsored by the Gillian family. Winners were Dave Carman and Frank Hutchins with 64.25. Runners up Adam Rogers and Ned Grant with 67.25. Next Sunday is the November monthly medal. Thanks to all the men for all the mowing. The course is looking great.

22.01.2022 The ladies golf on Wednesdays is coming to a close for the year. A summer 15 hole comp will be held during December and January. Last week was trophy day. Collette Armstrong came into best nett score. Last Thursday 6 ladies went to Wellington for their open. Lorrae Barker won scratch in B Grade also a nearest pin on 14th. Helen Kemper was scratch runner up in C grade. Julie Fairly was nett Runner up in B Grade. Lorrae Helen and Julie also won the team's event. This week we p...layed a Fun Day where you have to use All the clubs in the bag. Lorrae came in with the best nett of 83. Presentation day is Wednesday 25th at 12.00. 19.01.2022 Ladies golf has been continuing through summer with a 15 hole comp starting early to beat the heat. Last game played for this is Wednesday 10th. Next Wednesday 17th is the start of this year's full calender of events. This is Opening day, with a 9am tee off shotgun start. Ladies are requested to be there at 8.30 to register. Members from the district clubs are most welcome to come and play.

05.01.2022 We had a big weekend of golf this weekend. Saturday was the Kearns/Kelly memorial day. Nice to see all the Kelly boys home, plus Kevin. Men's winner was Dave Carman, runner up Wayne Kelly. Men's non golfer was Mark Kelly and runner up Kevin Kelly. Ladies golf winner was Helen Kemper and runner up Nicole Kelly. Junior golfer was Milla Kelly and runner up Logan Kelly. 03.01.2022 New Date - Our 3 person Ambrose was postponed due to the wet weather last wkend. The new date will be Saturday 7th November 10 am start. Rules for the game are 4 drives each player, club length from where your team mates ball is, only 1 single digit handicap per team, maximum handicap is 60 combined per team,you can have higher but it’s capped at 60. Men off men's tees and ladies off ladies tees. Please call club to register your team.
