24.01.2022 It’s showtime with a $250K boost for Canowindra showground! Locals, show-goers and tourists alike benefit from three new amenities blocks at the Canowindra Show...ground after a $250,000 investment from the Australian Government’s Community Development Grants Programme. Modern loos, showers and basins, including disabled facilities feature throughout the new blocks. The showground is the heart and soul of the community, hosting key events such as the Canowindra Show and Canowindra International Balloon Festival which delights thousands annually. Now that COVID restrictions have eased campers and sporting groups such as the team penning and pony clubs will be able to enjoy the new facilities. 21.01.2022 In a meeting held on July 21st 2020, by the Cowra Show Society Executive Committee, the unanimous decision was made to cancel the 2020 Cowra Spring Show. This decision was not made lightly, and we had the best interests of our community in mind.

14.01.2022 Unfortunately due to the current situation with COVID-19 and current restrictions on gatherings the 2020 annual Cudal Show has been cancelled. Due to health res...trictions and the safety of volunteers, visitors and competitors we cannot risk the gathering of this many people together. We are hoping to put a bigger and better show on in 2021 when hopefully things will be back to a more normal circumstances. Hope to see you all next year at our 2021 annual Show. See more

01.01.2022 Canowindra Show- Cancelled The Canowindra P A & H Association regrets to advise that due to the uncertainty around the Covid-19 Pandemic our 2020 Canowindra Show to be held on the 25th & 26th of September will be cancelled. The Committee would like to take this opportunity to thank all the on going Volunteers, Stewards and Sponsor's for their continued support and we look forward to working with you all next year for the 2021 Canowindra Show, 24th & 25th of September. Ther...e is also a lot of changes taking place at the showground. Upgrade to the Cobley Pavilion and Poultry Shed, resurfacing of the grandstand, three new Toilet amenities, Thankyou to West Lime who have kindly donated 100 tonne of road base for the formwork. Upgrades are also taking place in the tearooms. Much work to be completed. The Canowindra Show committee would like to thank the Canowindra Showgrounds, Racecourse, Recreational Land Managers committee for their ongoing efforts taken to upgrade the showground. See more
