25.01.2022 One day to go!! Tomorrow we finally return to community rugby and kick off our 2020 Tasmanian Rugby Union senior seasons. Thank you to all clubs, supporters and... volunteers who have helped us prepare in these unprecedented times! We are all so excited to be back out on the park and to be able to cheer our teams on. Things are not perfect and we still need to abide by COVID-19 restrictions. We ask that all supporters/spectators and players follow social distancing rules and assist our volunteers in this process. There’s always the risk if we get it wrong we go backwards and our season is put in jeopardy. Certainly not want we want. So let’s work together, keep 1.5m and enjoy the games tomorrow! #communitysport #rugby #tasrugby #morethenagame

21.01.2022 We will be open again tonight during the junior session. Come join us!

20.01.2022 An important message from the TRU Competition Manger: This weekend's Grand Final day marks the end of our 2020 regular season, congratulations to Devonport, Taroona, Launceston and Burnie. With 2 Northern teams finishing on top in the Championship Competition and Covid-19 restricting our capacity to 1000, the day will be a little different. The times and Locations for Saturday are:... Launceston 2:00pm - Championship Final - Launceston v Burnie - Royal Park Hobart 1:30pm - Womens Exhibition Match - Rugby Park 1 3:00pm - Premiership Final - Devonport v Taroona - Rugby Park 1 The usual arrangements will be in place at Rugby Park, however with our Covid requirements and numbers restricted to 1000 some extra's have been added. Spectators will be counted on entry and exit, with capacity at Rugby Park kept at 1000. Once capacity is at 1000 you will not be permitted to enter - Security will monitor this You are required to be seated for the consumption of alcohol. There will be some seating available in the designated wet area, however it's recommended you bring a camp chair or picnic rug. We highly recommend you use your COVIDSAFE App and follow the usual social distancing and hygiene requirements we are now accustomed to The day may be a little different, but still enjoyable.

01.01.2022 A big thank you to my helpers on Friday night. It was a busy one and their assistance is appreciated Mark, Maddy, Cara and Anna, thank you! Although we are fortunate to not be in the same position as our interstate colleagues and are able to have rugby again and access to the Clubhouse, this is a privilege and not to be taken lightly. This can be taken away at any time if we do not all play our part in following the rules. Physical distancing is still required. While we w...elcome children, I must remind you that we are not able to supervise them and the Clubhouse is not a playground. There are TV’s and we can provide paper and pencils but when indoors: people need to be seated especially if drinking we cannot allow running around flipping drink bottles and throwing balls is not permitted maintain 1.5m distance wherever possible use the sanitiser available near the doors and on the counters Boots off at the door! See you all again for another Friday night game this week Harlequins Vs Taroona, then on Saturday Rugby Park will be hosting the ladies gala day. See more
