24.01.2022 This week all year 7 students took part in the Defuse Anti-bullying workshop run by Anthony Folasaitu from Fusion Sydney South Youth Services. The workshops were interactive and very informative teaching students how to look out for one another and put an end to bullying.

21.01.2022 This term 7V created a collaborative artwork, printing their lino designs onto a canvas. Today Alexander and Rato presented the artwork to Mr Dummett. It is now proudly hanging in the English corridor.

07.01.2022 Dear Parents, I am very pleased to inform you that the state government announced over the weekend that Canterbury Boys High School will finally get its own, stand-alone hall, by the end of 2022. The hall will be named the John Howard Hall in recognition of Mr John Howard, arguably our most recognisable Cantabrian.... The announcement is largely due to the amazing effort and commitment of our local MP, Ms Sophie Cotsis. We are very lucky to have Ms Cotsis representing us and are truly thankful for the great work she does for us as a school and in our community. On behalf of Canterbury Boys High School, I would like to say, thank you Ms Cotsis. Ross Dummett

05.01.2022 Year 7 10 students from Pacific communities participated in The Western Sydney University, PATHE (Pacifika Achievement To Higher Education) program via Zoom. PATHE aims to develop student aspirations towards further education and training through school mentoring workshops and university visits. Students met their PATHE mentors online and engaged in valuable discussion regarding university courses and career pathways.

01.01.2022 One of our very talented Year 7 students here at CBHS, recently spent hours creating a Robot fighting scene. He used the Stop motion technique, where multiple objects are physically manipulated and photographed individually, so they appear to be moving when the frames are played back.
