20.01.2022 The Canterbury-Bankstown Bulldogs have continued their quest to bring back the club culture of old by appointing Andrew Farrar as the new General Manager of Football. The former Bulldogs centre, who also represented New South Wales and Australia, takes over from Alan Thompson, who will finish up in his role later this year. Farrar, has had a stellar career, playing 186 matches for the Bulldogs and appearing in 3 Premierships (84', 85', 88'). He currently sits on the Bulldogs ...Football Club Board. In addition, Farrar had a superb Representative career, playing for both New South Wales (7 appearances) and Australia (1 Test), as well as being Head Coach of the Illawarra Steelers (97-98) and St George (2000-2002). Farrar, has also been the Team Manager of the New South Wales Origin side since 2014 and will perform the same role for the Samoan team during the upcoming World Cup. Chairman Ray Dib was delighted to bring another former Bulldog 'great' back into the club: "Andrew has a tremendous pedigree in the game of Rugby League, having performed at the highest level as a player, coach and team manager. He has a great affinity with the Bulldogs, having played in three Premierships and knows the culture of the club inside out. We are delighted that he will be able to bring all his football knowledge and experience to the role of General Manager of Football." Farrar, was also looking forward to taking on the role: "I have a great affinity for the Bulldogs and have greatly enjoyed my association with them as a player and Board Member. It is a tremendous honour to be asked to take on the role of General Manager of Football and I look forward to working with new Head Coach Dean Pay and a talented group of players." Farrar will start in the role after his World Cup commitments have finished with Samoa.
17.01.2022 Steve Mortimer has been reinstated on the Canterbury Board after being approached by Ray Dib and asked to return. Mortimer resigned last year after declaring it was either "Him or Hasler" Welcome back Turvey
16.01.2022 HATE MELBOURNE! Hate hate hate!
01.01.2022 The Bulldogs are screwing everything up lately, Club stalwart Jim Dymock will resign and take up a position at either Parramatta or Cronulla. Dymock is devastated he was over looked for the 1st grade job in favour of Dean Pay. Apparently once again the situation was handled very unprofessionally.
