There is little doubt that the 2020 year was challenging for everyone, including our touch community. However, it was fantastic that we still managed to have a touch season across the junior and seniors competitions. Thank you for your patience and resilience in working through the uncertainty and disruptions through the season to still get our junior to their games an...d on the park. Thank you also to all our volunteers for your tireless efforts for the club, both on and off the field. We are really keen to keep growing our little club and know that you are our greatest source of new players. 13.01.2022 That’s a wrap!! From COVID to grand finals in nearly 40 degree heat. But we got there in the end, champions were crowned & it was a successful season. We returned to our home ground of Tempe, had more kids than ever & lots of new referees on board. ... We want to throw out some sincere thanks for the season. Firstly to the parents & carers. We know Sunday mornings can be hard waking early for sport, but hopefully you agree the smile on the kids faces makes it worthwhile. Our wonderful referees - Tony, Will, Brooklyn, Alex, Harry, Tayla, Connor, Connar, Michael, Shane, Leigh & Paris - without you there would be no competition. Our beautiful canteen manager Olga who also takes care of time keeping, referees & general enquiries. You keep us on track & we are forever grateful. Our fantastic volunteer managers who look after teams all season. Your help in getting information out, organising shirts, creating a great culture & coaching the kids is fantastic & makes our job so much easier. Charmain our social media champion. All our Facebook & Instagram posts including vital information, Monday Motivation & Throwback Thursday’s are created by her. Char coming on to our team & taking over our social media presence is a major reason we have grown as a junior club of 120 kids to 460 in a just a few seasons.
