20.01.2022 ROAD LIFELINES FOR WILDLIFE Canungra local and wildlife carer Bren Dalby has started installing lifelines for animals trapped on Beaudesert-Nerang Road. An... eight-kilometre stretch of solid guardrails along the hinterland road has caused anger, with locals claiming they present a danger to both wildlife and motorists. Bren has wrapped donated cut up doonas and rope around the guardrails. These will help animals stuck on the busy road to climb over the guardrail.
